LONDON (AFP) - US pop star Madonna made a rare foray into politics, calling for her home country to withdraw its troops from Iraq during an interview with British radio.

"I just don't want American troops to be in Iraq, period," she said on BBC Radio.

"My feelings are 'can we just all get out?'," said the 46-year-old star, who lives mainly in London with British film director husband Guy Ritchie, who said she believes the US-led war will not help in the fight against terrorism.

Dear Ms. Ciccione,

We don't tell you how to spread your legs for every mammal with a pulse and a day job. Don't tell us how to prosecute the War On Terror. MMkay?

Sincerely,

The Real World

Madonna calls for US troops to leave Iraq

Her opinion is no more important than my barber's opinion.

Gee, how many times in her life has she told people to "Pull Out"?

Actually, not many, probably.

Most telling in all this, is the "Can't we all just get along?" statement. This is typical, liberal, appeasment blather. It is that idiotic, moronic, ludicrous belief that if everyone sits down, holds hands and talks about their feelings, that everything can get worked out.

These people, the ones she wants to "get along with", these are people who slowly saw off the heads of living human beings while they scream in terror. Unless you want to capitulate unconditionally to these people, I SUGGEST YOU SHUT YOUR FCKING TRAP! Dammit, people like her REALLY PISS ME OFF!

Someone needs to tell President Bush about this immediately, before anyone dies. I wish she had made her wishes known earlier, so we could have avoided going to war. I wonder if Saddam Hussein wants his old job back. I hope he doesn't ask for too much. We might have to raise taxes. Oh, well...whatever it takes to make her happy, I suppose we have to make it happen.

Q: What's the difference between Madonna and the Titanic?

A: Only 1,700 men went down on the Titanic!

...who said she believes the US-led war will not help in the fight against terrorism.

She also "believes" in Kaballa. Good damned thing Dubya didn't ask her to be Sec. of Defense.
