LONDON (AFP) - US pop star Madonna made a rare foray into politics, calling for her home country to withdraw its troops from Iraq during an interview with British radio."I just don't want American troops to be in Iraq, period," she said on BBC Radio.
"My feelings are 'can we just all get out?'," said the 46-year-old star, who lives mainly in London with British film director husband Guy Ritchie, who said she believes the US-led war will not help in the fight against terrorism.

Sure we will pull the troops out, as soon as you find your virginity again. Remember where you left it? I didn't think so.

Madonna? Hmm, I'm only 19, but, wasn't she the Nation's Official Harlot in the 80's?

Yeah, good advice Madonna. Having Iraq fight terrorism too is really a lousy idea to win the WOT. Saddam was so much more effective./sarc

"Global terror is everywhere. Global terror is down the street, around the block," she said."Global terror is in California. There's global terror everywhere and it's absurd to think you can get it by going to one country and dropping tons of bombs on innocent people."
Stupid bitch equates common street crimes -- and probably general nastiness -- with terrorism. She also thinks (and I use that word loosely in association with this pretentious old whore) that what we're doing in Iraq is no different than what happened to us on 9/11, or happens all too frequently to Israelis.

And I call Madonna to sing a song and STFU!!!
Go back to the Kabala or whatever hocus pocus thing she is into this month. The world is too serious a place to have entertainers opine their views. Hmmm, didn't Plato say something like that 2400 years ago in one of his symposiums???
