Not all of us in the Blue States are Blue

Posted on 11/08/2004 2:52:36 PM PST by California Red

I'm a first time poster here from one of the most liberal communities in California. I wanted to thank you all for perhaps unknowingly keeping at least this conservative from insanity over the last year or so and to remind you that even in the blue counties in the blue states, at least 25% of us are celebrating the re-ascention of Bush to the White House.

I've been the target of so much hate in my own community that I turned to reading your supportive site in lieu of my own local forum. I know these radical liberals that are now degrading those who live between the coasts and believe me, they are NOT what they profess to be. They are the most intolerant, bigoted, self-centered and self-righteous people in America. I know, because I live with them.

Show the Libs this:

This is 2000, but 2004 is even more Bush friendly. Even in California, the lib enclaves are small and few...

CA refugee here. I moved to GA three years ago, after living my entire life in CA.

My parents actually seemed to start thinking about moving last week when I was telling them about my predominantly conservative government here in GA.

Welcome aboard.

"and keep the faith there in Occupied America."

This thread reminds me of the movie "Red Dawn." In appropriate name now that we are the Reds:)

I live in CT and a lot of people here are happy W won. We are mostly outside of the cities and have reasonably good incomes but it isn't hard to find a despondent democrat. They're fun to watch.

Actually there are a lot of us Bush supporters in California.
It's just that we are outnumbered in the big cities. Just give us a little time and we will stamp them out like a roach infestation. The more radical the left gets, the more people switch over to our side.

Greetings from one of the other blue counties in IL.

Too many college students - who are wrongly indoctrinated by their leftist professors - and too many old hippies here in our county.

I live in Contra Costa and a lot of us worked many hours to get as many votes as we could. It didn't turn out as good as we had planned, but a lot of good people are here.

AMEN!! THANKS FREEPERS.

As a conservative living and working in the occupied city of San Francisco, my head would explode on a daily basis if it weren't for Free Republic.

And since I'm an attorney, I get to see the loony left in action at work and at play. Unfortunately, what you see on the news is not an exaggeration. If anything, the media underplays how out-of-whack SF has become.

I live in Santa Clara county, close to the center of the 'Beast'. I've been looking to move for some time as I just can't stand it anymore.

Right you are about the libs. I'm in red Ohio, but blueblueblue Cuyahoga County, home of vandalism against Republicans.

I have never seen it this bad in the past.

You are not alone.

Here in NYS, a sickly blue state on its way to becoming a socialist state because of the grip of rats from NYC, there are many conservatives who, while outnumbered at present, will never give up the struggle for freedom.

In fact, our County Executive in Erie County is blasting them to hell and back over Medicaid!

I echo others: never back down and give them back as much as they give you. Go public and walk around with a Texas Swagger...and don't forget we won!!!
