Which Fox News anchors/reporters/pundits/hosts do you think are really, sincerely right-leaning? (VANITY)

We probably all prefer Fox News over CNN, CNBC, the network news shows, etc.

But I was wandering as I was watching the election night coverage and Brit Hume seemed so giddy with excitement when Bush started to pull away - what are the true political leanings of the Fox News staff?

My take:

Bill O'Reilly - Basically a slightly left-leaning Libertarian redeemed by a belief in a vigorous American foreign policy and a sneering content for the MSM

Brit Hume - love the guy....with us 100%, I believe...I LOVED the way he interacted in such an over-the-top way with Susan Estritch on election night basically wiping her face with Kerry's loss....

Fred Barnes - same as Brit, 'red' to the core....but fair and honest in his analysis..

Shep Smith - seems to also take glee in Democratic pain but not so sure....his very patriotic stances make me think he's one of us, though...

Sean Hannity - no issues with Sean....

Morton Kondracke - middle of the road leftie but fair....

Greta Van Susteren - big time left winger if I had to guess...

Juan Williams - leftie....no doubt about it....

What do you all think???

Tony Snow is another class-act. Sean is always great and his enthusiasm is contagious. I love "Scarborough Country." He is a dedicated Conservative, but never hesitates to attack President Bush when he goes astray. Like for his unconscionable social-spending programs and his shameful toleration of Illegal Immigration. While Greta is on I switch to "Scarborough Country." Linda Vester is cool.
My favorite guest is Michelle Malkin. She is the greatest! Did anyone see her appearance at the University of California? Her intellect was dazzling as she fearlessly challenged and defanged the liberals in their own den.

I don't get the impression that Barone is a righty.

I agree, Brit Hume the best anchor and the toughest interviewer to boot.

CONGRATULATIONS, SoDak! South Dakota has done themselves proud.

"And Greta's hubby works/worked for the Kerry Campaign."

Ewwww I didn't know that. Well, I rarely watch Greta. Don't like how they are sensationalizing the Laci Petersen tragic murder. Poor woman and her unborn son were brutally murdered and her panel of lawyer boobs (minus Nancy Grace)
joke around and laugh at each others comments when the crime is so heinous. This was a brutal murder. They are disrespectful. Show sucks in a big way.

"Colonel Hunt, however, is a big disappointment."

I missed that, what did Colonel Hunt do?

We've been glued to FOX news for what seems like a decade.
Hell I remember when they couldn't get advertisers any better than the "ronco" type of shills.

Shep is eye candy for the ladies, but has a conservative slant.

Britt is surely conservative to the core.
Same for Tony Snow

O'Reilly is too damn full of himself anymore, more of a "shock jock for the masses.

Juan Williams - the perfect lib, is so out there on some subjects it's freakin' hilarious

E D Hill - conservative, moreso after marriage and a few more rug rats

Cavutto - my main man.... gets the best guests, is a credible yet fun dude (who can argue with a Victoria's Secret story every 6 months or so?) I also applaud him for his courage in fighting MS

Now to the important stuff.......
The News Babes

In the "Mary Ann" column, Patty Ann Brown gets my SS Minnow floating....

For the "Ginger element", I'm torn between Juliet Huddy (reminds me very fondly of an old flame) and Page Hopkins.

and let's not forget Laurie Dhue.
or Linda Vester
or Alysin Cammerata
or......

Hell, they're all certainly on the right network.

My favorite Shep moment was the Jennifer Lopez story, where he actually said bl#$-job on-air. I wonder what fines the FCC slapped Fox with.

Unfortunately, I don't get MSNBC.

Here's a great e-mail I got from a friend of mine. Susie in the e-mail is a big time Democrat. For your enjoyment:

"We just got home from seeing the NVHS production of Annie. Susie O happened to sit behind us. There is a scene were Daddy Warbucks phones FDR and vites him to dinner. He then tells his secretary to "find out what Democrats eat." I heard Susie say, "A lot of crow this week." In another scene, FDR is meeting with his cabinet and Warbucks and Annie. The FDR character speaks a string of famous FDR quotes. I heard Susie say,"I needed that, it has been a bad week."

"I just love it when Juan Williams loses it"

You must love FNC all the time. I've heard Juan make a good point only to follow later on with spastic liberal drivel moments later.

Yep--and give his time slot back to Tony Snow.

I will always remember the afternoon when Shep did two back to back interviews: first with an admitted child molestor (re: Catholic Church scandal) and then the Hamas spokesman right after yet another bombing.

Shep actually looked as if he was going to leap across the table and beat the crap out of the child molestor. Then the first words out of the Hamas twits mouth were, "Of course we are terribly sorry for this tragic accident..." Shep practically jumped out of his chair and screamed "ACCIDENT!!! You call this an ACCIDENT!!"

I need my newscasters to show a little outrage when the world'd most evil prey on the world's most innocent.

Shep is OK in my book.

He seemed wryer than usual and a little irritable on election night, which surprised me a bit. Maybe he was just tired.

As the night wore on, he seemed to fumble his words more and more, and the look on his face suggested, to me at least, that he was very tired. He also made a crack or two about it being past his bedtime. I think he was just very tired.

That having been said...

I am a pretty decent amateur poker player and plan on taking on the pros in various tourneys within the next few years. Playing poker you are always making an effort to notice things about your opponents. How fast does he/she call? When they are faster to call (or slower) what kind of hand do they have? Does he watch the board, his cards, or the other players? How does he place his chips when he has a big hand? When he is bluffing? Trying to log all of that stuff in your mind in the middle of a game is a pretty big challenge. Which brings me to Fox News election coverage, and the contributions of Susan Estrich.

At first, I thought she was drunk. She seemed tight in her body language, which is not normal for her, and VERY loose in her speaking manner, which is also not normal for her. Then, when she stopped talking she threw on the phoniest, most obnoxious smile I have ever seen, at least when I was supposed to take it seriously. Though I definately did not hear any slurring in her voice, I immediately decided that she was drunk, or at least a little bit tipsy. Seeing her on Fox before always gave the impression that while a lefty, she was most definately not one of the stuck up, elitist lefties.

Then, the reports of the Dems cooking up exit polling numbers to puff themselves up started to surface. That they had used their own network of allies to get them out over the air to attempt to fool people into thinking that Kerry was winning. Then it hit me. She was not drunk, but lying through her teeth. She knew she was lying, and it showed, big time, IMHO. I believe that she used her role as a Fox News Contributor to spread DNC sanctioned lies in an attempt to influence the election, and personally, I would just as soon never see her ugly mug again. Unless, she happens to be sitting at my poker table...JFK

Brit Hume's first comment after the Cheney/Edwards debate was that Cheney looked "old". BUT he redeemed himself in my world when he called Ohio for Bush!
Don't know if he had gotten word that he could not without
Kerry's permission. That was a load of crap too!

My favorites are HUME, Fred Barnes & Mort, Kristol, Krauthammer, Neil Cavuto and John Gibson with his (My Word). Nice folks.

If you guys and gals are not flipping the channel at 10:00pm and watching Scarborough instead of GRETA, you are missing a treat. He has been off TV a bit lately with a back injury suffered by falling out of his kid's tree house or something, but is great to watch. Pat Buchanan has been an able fill-in. The show will improve 100 per cent when Ron Reagan is handed his walking papers. I simply cannot stand the guy's looks, whiny voice, or left of San Francisco opinion. Idiot Ron thinks Kerry won because he got more votes than any other president who actually won. Go figure.
