...we should be concerned with bitter folks like this guy.
Don't be concerned, my friend. He has committed personal genocide on his line and will disappear with a quiet little puff into eternal oblivion.
It's a matter of survival of the fittest. His disordered kind will die off and leave more room for us healthy folks.
His gene pool is simply unfit to survive.

Why do clueless bozos to believe themselves to be experts on subjects where they have no experience and precious little knowledge? Do they need some form of reassurance they have made a correct choice that only comes from belittling those who chose differently?

Sounds like a possible TROLL alert here.
This piece is chock full of self-serving, baseless assertions and outright falsehoods. Like anything else in life, that which is worth doing is usually difficult. Raising good children is one of the toughest jobs a person may undertake. Done well, it is among the most fulfilling and rewarding.

However, I like kids and volunteer at the local schools to teach space science.

For a parent to state that they wished they never had children - what message does that send to their children? Would you say such a thing to your child? Once you have the child, you are committed to do the best by him or her. That would not include saying such a thing. Finally, my ex used these exact words once and I have never forgotten them.

I would imagine it is devastating to kill part of yourself. Abortion to me is a murder of your soul. It's a killing of something powerful given to you by our creator. At the same time, I believe a woman should choose what to do according to her beliefs and her conscious and keep government out of it. I also believe people who don't want kids should feel free to choose not to have them. Not everybody is up to the awesome responsibility of raising children. It should be left to professionals. I'd even go so far as to require parenting licenses.

Actually, I did know someone years ago who had a baby and was really not happy after the fact. Her husband was thrilled, she was not. And the baby was just an adorable, sweet, happy little boy. Sad. I hope everything worked out. I've lost touch with that family over the years.

Lordy...what side of the bed did HE get up on?
Embittered indeed!
I don't have a spouse or kids, but I sure do hope to some day - it's pretty much what I want most out of life. I can't even fathom feeling as this person does, but I know many do. *shrug*

I decided not to have kids or a wife... And haven't regretted it one bit!!! If people don't want kids that is fine. But I do hope he has other family to support him and doesn't expect my kids or my kid's money to support him via social programs when he gets old.

The best part about having kids is the grandbabies....
But it's a delayed gratification kind of thing.

I don't have children either, but I really like kids. I thoroughly enjoy my nieces and nephews (got about 15). If things had been different I would probably have a few. Health problems preclude me from having kids. But they can be delightful. Saying you hate kids is like saying you hate people.

Abortion to me is a murder of your soul... At the same time, I believe a woman should choose what to do according to her beliefs and her conscious and keep government out of it. I'm sure you think murder should be criminalized. And it sounds like you believe that abortion is murder. So why shouldn't abortion be criminalized?
