This piece is chock full of self-serving, baseless assertions and outright falsehoods. Like anything else in life, that which is worth doing is usually difficult. Raising good children is one of the toughest jobs a person may undertake. Done well, it is among the most fulfilling and rewarding.

AGREED. That's why I wrote "leave it to the professionals." I don't think everyone is called to parenthood or marriage. Would you also agree with this poster? I think anyone who has the self-awareness to realize they wouldn't make a good parent SHOULD NOT become a parent. TChris, I assure you I'm so not a TROLL. I do post a lot of controversial things mainly because they trouble me and I guess I need assurance that I'm not crazy for being troubled about certain things. Plus, stimulating discussions are fun, aren't they? The more passion we elicit the better.
