I don't have a spouse or kids, but I sure do hope to some day - it's pretty much what I want most out of life. I can't even fathom feeling as this person does, but I know many do. *shrug*

How about thinking about what you are about to do, first? Sure, if you're a selfish individual and don't realize it, then you have lots of other problems.

Waking up one day and thinking you HATE being a parent means you should have spent more than a minute thinking about it before you did it!!! (Not to mention it is a ridiculous conclusion... our kids are our lives!!)
