A Mandate to Destroy Liberalism
November 3, 2004 | Jim Curtis

Posted on 11/03/2004 5:47:35 PM PST by Jim_Curtis

Republicans are like the teenage floozy in the horror flicks. She manages to smack the psychotic monster over the head with a shovel, knocking him out, and then runs away rather than finishing him off. The psychopath always reappears with no newfound sense of reasonability being knocked into him.

TOPICS: Politics/Elections; Your Opinion/Questions
KEYWORDS:
There are thousands of Vietnam Vets. The Democrats could have chose to promote any one amongst those thousands for their leader but they chose the one they knew was an America hating traitor.

They chose the most divisive skunk they could find and now they will try to survive for four years by tricking Republicans into uniting with them rather than using all of our energy to destroy them. Republicans have a natural tendency to fall for this, the 'rats realize this.

There is only one goal for these next four years: Destroy everything liberal and I hope that we use our forums in these next four years to discuss how this will be done.

We can hope that Bush understands this but should probably face the fact that he probably doesn't grasp this ( he saw what the liberals did to his father and fell into some of the same traps ) and we must keep the pressure on the President to avoid making deals with Democrats in the same way that you don't cut deals with terrorists.

I won't spoil the party with specifics right now...well, except for immigration. I think we all understand that there needs to be a loud outcry from all of us to challenge the Presidents liberal immigration policies that we know to expect.

The only way to do that without inspiring a backlash is to methodically take it apart piece by piece rather than smashing it head on with a sledgehammer.

I agree. It is time to kick butt and finish liberalism off.

Watch the gutless Republicans ignore the vote fraud just like they ignore the illegals invasion.

My father in-law is 80 years old, has lived in the same house for 35 years, always voted republican and always votes in every election. Yesterday he found that his name was removed from the voter rolls. Very suspicious. He had to vote a provisional ballot. He lives in Curt Weldon's district. R-Pa. He's got a call into Curt's office.

Destroy everything liberal ...

I absolutely agree.

I have no love for the "polite Republicans" who wants to join hands and bring us all together, only to find out four years from now that those liberals who joined hands were really making fists.

piece by piece...

...by piece, by piece, by piece. Absolutely right.

The judicial issues and appointments are #1 priority for us to pressure our elected officials. Let's start with Frist.

I believe as a FReeper unit, we can continue to disassemble the MSM...piece by piece. I wish FReepers would watch less network TV...I'm suprised how many people here put $$$ and power directly into the enemy's pocket by doing so.

I'm in, but have you any ideal how huge a job that is? ACLU, for one. It's an anti-American, anti-faith litigious monster. There's the Jesse Jacksonzzz.

What do you have in mind? Any ideas for a plan?

Good post. It is time to stick the knife in deeper and twist it until the limbs stop wiggling.

Liberalism Delenda Est!

Maybe this is a crazy idea, but why couldn't a wealthy conservative simply purchase the NY Times? They could eliminate the obvious leftist slant in that rag. I would only want the new paper to be "biased" toward the truth, however, and actually live up to the definition of journalism:

The collecting, writing, editing, and presenting of news!

I'm totally w you - ACLU needs to be the first - how about some investigations, Rainbow Push, and I'd like to see President Bush put all those great judges he nominated back through and at least let them get a vote.

Liberals are sort of like the Frankenstein monster, Michael Meyers (Halloween), and Jason in the hockey mask...They just keep coming back in every sequel.

A lot of conservatives have been irate at the things that leftists have tried to impose on this country recently. The list includes

1.) banning innocuous displays of The 10 Commandments,
2.) making partial birth abortion legitimate
3.) imposing gay marriage,
4.) expanding embryonic stem cell research
5.) pornographic sex education for teens
6.) filibustering qualified judges to ensure that the federal bench would remain stocked with liberal activists who would use their positions to impose these things and leave the public helpless to stop it.

But these turned out to be blessings in disguise. The publicity these attempts generated, especially on the internet, resulted in an electorate more informed than ever before. By realizing how much was at stake, Middle America finally turned against liberal politicians and told them to shove their agenda.

Good question. Rupert Murdock, FNC, et al, is the only odd owner I can think of but don't know if he has papers.

News outlets like newspapers and broadcast network news was crying hunger in the 70s and 80s before cable news and computers burst on the scene. It's most likely that no one wants to buy a paper.

These days you could build a paper cheaper than buying one out.

You imagine how hard that'd be?

However, was it Oregon, Nevada? Some western state tried to fine the NEA, for lobbying I think.

Maybe finding or making ways to fine these objectionable operations. I've heard some horror stories that would be readily prosecutable.
