The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

That's interesting, it still seems wasteful of a whole department when isolation of the affected individual(s) would accomplish the same thing if there was minimal contact. I know that hospitals are capable of isolating people because I've seen it done. Thanks for the info!

Sorry to ask such a stupid question! It's just the author sounded so knowledgeable etc etc and then all of a sudden said "There are no sleeper cells"...

I mean, the 19 terrorists in the airplanes were here for quite some time before enacting their terrorist slaughter!

They didn't just hop over on a plane the week before.

That was my take as well lj. The first portion of the article seemed well written and well thought out. Then he stated there were no sleeper cells and I wondered what he was drinking or smoking. I'm at a loss to understand his state of denial. I assume it's denial, or he is a shill for someone or someone's agenda. I believe he is flat out wrong. Just my 2 cents.

Right, I was reading along thinking "hmm, this guy seems like he's studying up pretty thoroughly on why people become terrorists" and then all of a sudden saying there are no sleeper cells now, in the past, or in the future!

It would be interesting to Google him and find out what else he says or what involvements he has.

I can't do anything on the internet until I get virus/spyware protection up, just got the computer back all fixed but it's all tender and unprotected, and I am a techno idiot.

Might have been better over Freepmail, but it's important to be reminded once in a while that this isn't a game. There are bad guys out there who want us dead, and we're trying to stop them.
