126,000 votes with 97% of precincts. Up from 100,000 a few mintues ago. CBS and CNN still refuse to call it.
(Excerpt) Read more at cnn.com ...
Actually they are waiting for Kerry to call it...
Kerry won't, and the MSM are wonked...
Stay focused...Kerry is problem here...not MSM..as they are only his surrogates...
Somebody pointed out that Bush's second-term popular vote margin will be greater than that of either the first JFK or either of the Clinton campaigns.
Kerry 2,580,462
97% in, lead still growing
What a pathetic loser.
Makes you wonder if this wasn't a plan all along - just now the margin is looking to wide.
ladies and gentlemen, it pains me dearly but do you not realize the fact that the dems/libs will continue to fight this until they have absolutely no other recourse...they hate our president so much that they will mobilize their minions....unless the popular and other vote areas appear to be totally Bush....I hate them but they are there and they are not going to go away... it is not over
The liberals are really going to create an image problem for their party by always contesting these elections.
Why won't they call New Mexico?
since when is 140,000 votes a squeaker? 2% difference is not that close. this is not a poll with a MoE - this is the real thing.
bring on Bush with the victory speech already...
There seem to have been 71,561 provisional ballots to count according to http://election.sos.state.oh.us/ProvBallots.htm
Bush does have the popular vote and Ohio is 125,000+ They'll look pretty stupid.
Ashland has 39 of these not shown on the CBS tally - the full county report shows these precincts will ADD 3,400 votes
per CBS:
Ashland (26 of 65 Precincts Reporting)
Party Candidate Votes V%
R George BUSH 8,821 64%
D John KERRY 4,738 35%
Full county report: 65 of 65
BUSH/CHENEY -R 15,826 64.98 %
KERRY/EDWARDS -D 8,345 34.24 %
Buchanan on MSNBC: Ohio decides the election, if you give Kerry & Bush the states where they are ahead.
On Kerry conceding or not -- Remember the old political advice: Don't get in the way of the other guy when he's imploding. If it drags out, that's another day to pound the sore losers.

Now identified 92/375 missing precincts (including Ashland Co) with +5,400
Wait a second--these are the ONLY provisional ballots? WTF? All the talking heads have been going on about 250,000++ ballots still to be counted? What gives?
Bush/Cheney 84,326
Kerry/Edwards 125,877
Net loss for Bush compared to CBS: (5,000)
Combined with 92 precincts in Ashland and Hamilton, this identifies 113/375 with no net change
Bush already won Ohio.
CALL NEW MEXICO NOW AND GET BUSH OUT THERE TONIGHT TO DECLARE VICTORY!
it needs to be bigger than the number of provisional ballots that will be called into play otherwise.
