Kristol says he figures 800,000 votes left in Ohio

Posted on 11/02/2004 9:31:37 PM PST by NoobRep

With Bush up by 130,000 Kristol says that's getting to be a big number to overcome. It sounds to me like the Cleveland area votes have already been counted but no one seems to know for sure where the 800,000 votes are located.

Clermont and Warren Counties are still heavily out. BIG Bush counties. Hamilton County is being counted but Joe "Write in" Deters is slowing things down a bit. Still should go Bush (Cincinnati).

Clermont County, Bush leads 70%-30%, 55% reporting, (49k votes cast)
Cuyahoga County, Bush trails 35%-65%, 76% reporting (497k votes cast)
Hamilton County, Bush leads 52%-48%, 44% reporting (197k votes cast)
Licking County, Bush leads 61%-39%, 56% reporting (41k votes cast)

Based purely on the math and the number of precincts counted, and assuming that the precinct populations are the same (a wild assumption, I know), there are over 900,000 votes not counted. That's quite a few.
