Thanks....I didn't know I've been missed!! Been pacing like everyone else. One moment up, the next moment worried. Right now, I'm feeling good. Good Wisconsin beer will do that....Leinenkugels from Chippawa Falls!

I just got home from work. Night ruined by hearing Zogby saying Kerry was going to sweep it, or some such nonsense, several hours ago, based on exit polls. Began getting optimistic while flipping radio stations on the trip home.

Am trying to read through this thread, yikes!! Off to rummage for something alcoholic to toast FR, and hopefully W's victory.

Ron Reagan now talking about how depressed he and many others will be if Bush wins, lol. Scarborough saying Bush connects with the heartland because of his faith.

Salazar leading Coors, Joe doesn't think Coors connects with conservative Christians because he's a beer man.

MSNBC is offering the "surprise" spin that "moral values" was a key issue today - going to Bush.

Surprise, surprise! For liberal secular humanists!

Moral values described as "the new umbrella term." Well, well...some things never change.

It looks like with Ohio and New Mexico, Bush will have it sewn up !!

Yeah, but other freepers are warning that Richardson will steal NM with the Indian vote. Then, if W just gets Ohio and Alaska (3 votes), we lose 271 to 269. Please, someone tell me I'm missing something.

If we win Alaska and Ohio, it will be 269-269. We need one of NV, NM, NH or HI to get over 270. MI, WI, IA or MN would be nice, too, but unnecessary.

W. needs OH or WI to win.

OH plus any of NV, NM, HI, NH, IA, AK.

WI plus NV, NM, AK gets us to 269.

Milwaukee Guy, your scenario sounds like Minnesota. At this point, Bush is outperforming his 2000 numbers IN EVERY SINGLE Congressional District.

I crunched the RATIO of Bush Votes to Gore/Nader votes (got ot include Nader, he had 127,000 votes in 2000, here are the comparative ratios.

crunched the numbers on MN's 8 congressinal districts showing as of this moment, what the ratio of Bush votes cast vs Gore/Nader votes cast.

2000 2004

MN 01 Bush .94 Bush 1.25

MN 02 Bush .93 Bush 1.26

MN 03 Bush 1.008 Bush 1.04

MN 04 Bush .58 Bush .58

MN 05 Bush .39 Bush .40

MN 06 Bush .95 Bush 1.14

MN 07 Bush 1.22 Bush 1.34

MN 08 Bush .76 Bush 1.006

In a 75% voting state, that means victory. Hang on.
