we need Ohio and Nevada to be over the top nicely

Nevada will deliver. It has been pre-ordained by the Fates. I cannot believe for a second that Nevada would go for a pompous New England blowhard -- it isn't their political style.

Kerry will get some significant votes in Clark County, but it will pretty much end at the county line.

Which is a +1 for Bush.

ACTUALLY IT'S +8. Bush picked up 7 extra EV's in his 2000 red states after the census.

3945 of 4124 precincts reporting, and David Vitter still has 52% of the vote. Normally, a Republican needs to get 53% in my parish to win, and David Vitter received 56% with a huge turnout.

Susan said that there is a gap of 130,000 votes, and that there are enough dem votes in Cuyahoga Co. to reduce that to 30,000. But she isn't saying anything about the remaining votes to be counted from Republican-rich rural counties that Michael was talking about earlier.

She probably ought to open another bottle and then call it a night for the on-air commentating.
