We're 55/45 and still can't call it.
I was born in Michigan (suberb of Detroit) and still have fond memories of it. Yeah, fond, honest!
Laura Rocks
hey here's the latest from SD.
310 of 827 precincts - 37 percent
John Thune Rep 66,945 - 50 percent
Tom Daschle (i) Dem 66,902 - 50 percent
Maybe they should wait on calling PA so somewhere other than Philly is counted.
250 for Bush right now in my calc. AZ+FL+OH+Ark on the CSPAN map.
I poop over the PA call (almost as bad as the NJ call)
PA's 1st reporting districts were Phili and the SUPER heavy Dem counties.. it was like 72 / 38 Kerry at one point.. now down to 58 / 42 kerry with 60% in (after the 1st 25% it was the 42/38 number) and the late western polls (that bush will do better in) are open late.
Even with Ca its 196/188 And Fla and ohio arent in yet! Wh00p!
Actually, NH is trending toward GW, much to Fox's surprise.
What percent of precincts in PA? There are 150,000 absentee ballots (that can't be tallied completely til thurs). Something stinks in PA...............
yes i will pray but im just about certian that kerry will pull it out and win just a nasty feeling i have sorta like when you gotta go and your stuck in a sig alert
I was born in Michigan (suburb of Detroit (Hazel Park) and still have fond memories of it. Yeah, fond, honest!

Here's a neat little link I found:
http://www.pbs.org/newshour/vote2004/politics101/politics101_ecmap.html
It's an interactive map - you can change the state colors to see what the count would be.
With PA being called for JF'n, that puts the balance at 275-263 for Kerry.
If we can hang on in Ohio and pick up Wisconsin and New Mexico and Hawaii......
Ottawa?
With 90% of the votes cast, Bush has nearly a 200,000 vote lead. There are roughly 750,000 votes left out there. Kerry would need 200,000 more than bush out of the remaining 750,000. That means he needs nearly 80% of the remaining vote. That is not bloody likely.
