Might prove the old saying "You can lead illegals to the border but you can't make Hispanics vote GOP?"

New Jersey has a reputation for being corrupt so I think the dems are hurrying to put the fix in for Kerry ---

I really don't think Bush thought he would get New Jersey until a couple of weeks ago when it was polling very close. I think at that time, his campaign said what the heck, even if we don't get NJ, maybe some E. Pennsylvania people may listen to speech in NJ.

No wonder the moveon.org girl I talked to today here said nobody wanted to talk politics to her on the phone. We love our Governor Bush and that translates into votes for Dubya.

What I find most interesting, is that even with some Democrat states reporting in, Dubya has maintained a 13% margin in the popular vote. This has been the trend since they started counting. It means that Kerry was not able to make a case for himself in any place outside Democrat strongholds. I expect Dubya to pluck off a few Gore states tonight as well.

Florida: Bush carries Wakula County, 57.4 to 42.7. He expanded his margin there by net 910 votes.

Okay.

Bush has a big lead in the popular vote at this point, which is mostly urban east coast votes. I thought typically the Democrat had strong early returns because of the likelyhood of east coast urban results, and the Democrat typically lost his margin as the night rolls on, and the east coast rural results, and midwest results come in.

So at this point, I am confident.

The Fox News guys are really not sounding positive about Bush. Not that they have too...I want them to sound truthful...but they all seem resigned to a Bush loss, without saying it out loud.
