I know, I know. The Rat precincts get counted later in the night. But I don't believe Bush was ahead by this much at any stage during the 2000 campaign. Especially when you consider that Bush won by 500 and something votes in 2000. So, we can assume Bush is doing better than 2000, right?
Maybe I will not have to stay up all night after all. Cautiously optimistic.

I've been locked in a room full of an uncooperative switchboard all day. Waht did Drudge do to draw your ire?

I voted for GWB today, My Mom is a democrat from the 40's, I invited her to spend the week at our house and thus she didn't cast her Kerry vote. Count me for 2.

VORERS FEELING BAD [Rod Dreher]
Just moved on wire: AP exit polling today found voters pessimistic. "Majorities of voters said the war in Iraq is going badly and the economy is not doing well. But three-fourths said they are worried about the possibility of another terrorist attack, a factor playing to Bush's strength." AP also found that 18-24 year olds broke for Kerry by +15 ... but didn't turn out in any greater numbers this year than in 2000. So much for Rock the Vote.

Amen. I'm glad I live just south of all that. The military presence of Quantico provides some sanity.

Hey folks, I'm still "shopping" around, so to speak, for a real-time results map/site.
Yahoo and NYT look fine, but I'm really looking for an auto-refresh/auto-reload site.
Any of you find such a site yet?

What percentage does a state have to report before they can call it for one candidate or the other? Not a fixed percent. They have to have a representative sample from precints that they can project from. Also, they agreed to wait till after the polls closed.

Nope. We just passed the Gay Marriage ban here in GA!
lol - I'm assuming, by your handle, you're a female, as am I. I just want to see a lot of drunk FReepers celebrating later.
