South Carolina is another bad omen.

SC: Bush 60%, Kerry 39%.

"Too close to call," MY DYIN' A$$!

Buchanan said that if Kerry runs in the mid-forties in a strong GOP state like SC, that's trouble.

OK: Who are you, and WTF have you done with the REAL sinkspur?

Does the Panhandle close in ten minutes? Here in AZ we have a little over an hour to go. I am tempted to go back to my polling place to see if there's a line again (even though I already voted).

>>With the Governor and Gay marriage ban winning how can W lose in Ohio?<<

ANYTHING is possible but it is good news that the voters appear to be leaning more conservative.

Peter Jennings now talking about the fact that 41 minutes into their broadcast they had not even mentioned Iraq.

64.37%No - 35.63%

One would think that the presidential vote would follow somewhat close to the vote for the marriage act. That is half cent and that is what it is worth.

Bush now ahead in Florida 57-42%. Bush now has an 80,000+ vote lead in Florida with 6% counted.

I know, I know. The Rat precincts get counted later in the night. But I don't believe Bush was ahead by this much at any stage during the 2000 campaign.

After scanning the results in the other states, I'm breathing much easier now. Bush is winning the states he should be winning and appears poised to take some states back that went Gore in 2000. This means he can afford to lose New Hampshire (Kerry's backyard).

Just got home, into my flannels & Uggs (it's COLD here in CO!) and made a pitcher of hurricanes. Gonna cuddle up with FNC and fellow FReepers (and my lovely fiance) and watch the action. Think I managed to convert my future step-daughter, too!

GO B/C!

Please turn on CBS! Rather is having a meltdown. He just said something to the effect of "We are going to have to have Billy Cristal to analyse this".... It is only going to get worse as the night goes on.

It's just that whole Hispanic vote thing in Florida, seems the Puerto Rican's have moved in and made things harder for the Cubans to vote Republican. I heard something about the young hispanic vote being critical in Florida earlier tonight.
