no one tonight was as bad as Cece Connelly, with her I can't believe this is happening all over again, don't know the winner, etc.
Got that right. Kerry needs a visit from the Spanish Inquisition!
Maybe NM will deliver.
Ed Bradley juts warned Rather that Bush will probably win Ohio.
Gillespie should hold on the liquor and spend his energy publicly denouncing the networks.

I am SOOOOO HAPPY WE WON!!!!!
They are trying to steal New Mexico, Iowa and Nevada as we speak. Ohio won't matter. They're stealing the other states while we pay attention to Ohio
not so drunk that he didn't best jennings in a hilarious mano a mano -- see my note, where ever that ends up! it was soooo funny!
2,833,579-2,699,758 134,000 vote difference
OHIO - 99% reporting - TOO CLOSE TO CALL
2,764,809-2,620,594 144,000 vote difference
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS F-IN PICTURE??????
Gadzooks! Halloween was the other day!
Is that her real hair color? ;)
That IS truly amazing. Those upstart reporters Bradley and Schieffer will be looking for new jobs tomorrow morning.
That's what the media wants, so they can start screaming "illegitimacy" again. They're so arrogant, they think they have the final word.
I hope W isn't waiting for the media to call the last states for him, as it is clear they won't do it! This is just despicable.
Text of Bush statement:
Four years ago, the nation strugled to come to grips with election results that were close and contested. Tonight the voice of the American people is clear, and I am honored to continue my service as your President.
My former opponent fought a hard campaign, and I applaud him for his willingness to serve his country. If however he needs a few days to come to grips with his loss, we should give him that time. We will help to make sure all the ballots are fairly counted and stand ready to accept his concession after that is done.
:)
Says who?
I am going mad because I am at work and cannot get anything in the basement on my tv very good but CBS. I would like to punch Dan Rather in the nose. Thank God for Free Republic.
Brad
Bush is heading over to the Reagan building right after Neveda goes red.
He is going to claim victory. And the dems will have no choice but to fold. There is no way this provisional issue is going to hold water....
Now Rather is saying that "it appears that Bush has the advantage . . . but just because a chicken has wings doesn't mean it can fly------which means appearances can be deceiving."
Drudge headline: BUSH CONSIDERS VICTORY SPEECH; KERRY CAMPAIGN SAYS 'NOT TONIGHT'
Are they out of their minds telling the President of the United States who won EV and Popular vote when he can and cannot speak? Ignore them President Bush!
