I just went back to my heavily Demoratic polling site. Dead. Noone. Nada. This morning was reasobably busy. Now it is dead. I believe GOPers will continue to turn out heavy later in day after work as well. I will update at 6pm to let you know how site is.

Anyone near a GOP site in Florida. We should compare lines or lack there of.

I just voted in a heavy Republican area here in Florida and it took me two full hours to vote. Lines were incredible! I had to tell several voters that almost turned around that duty requires sacrifice. Hnag in there. There was also a guy with a Bush tee shirt on that was handing out bottles of water to the folks in line.

Looks good from Valrico FL

This was Ralph Reed's comment. The Dems have "early voted." IF they don't have it now, they ain't getting it. But the heavily military absentees have yet to be counted, and the largely GOP panhandle has yet to vote. We will win FL.

Hey, I called a close friend of my late wife just a few minutes ago.... she lives in an area near a big mall on US 1 in Jacksonville. She lives off of Southside Blvd(? Rd.).

She uses a walker and was concerned about waiting in the LONG lines. She was bumped ahead due the kindness of the other voters. She voted at about 3.

She in an area with a GOP Congressman...Creshaw, I think. She says it is a GOP area.

When will they start posting results? Will they post the east coast results before the polls in the West close?

The GOP always show kindness. Both Duval and St. Johns county are predominatly republican with the exception of the gracious district that Corrine "Crook" Brown was given.

I heard at work today from folks that voted in her district that her supporters were handing out pre-marked ballots and when asked if this is how Corrine wanted them to vote, the volunteer said "yes". I was very proud of the individual who shared this story, because he stated that he told them "...thank you, I was going to vote for Kerry but you have just changed my mind"!

Miami Here (West End Park. Sw 3st&60th Ave)
Arrived around 10am and waited for 30 mins. When I got in they told me I could not vote because I had ordered an absentee ballot. I explained that I did order it just in case I could not make it. They then had the election guy call the office where I was removed and then all was ok to vote. Three people behind me had the same situation. They should explain better that if you order an absentee you are marked on the list as not allowed to vote in the precint. Everyone was very careful and helpful. I've never in my life seen a line like that.

We live in north st. johns county (just south of jacksoville beach)heavy republican district and we still have heavy lines.

They just showed, on the local news, an elementary school someplace up in West Palm Beach that had a long line. Estimates of up to a 2-hour wait.

I get so annoyed with all of the hand-wringing. It's as if they are trying to discourage working folks (Republicans) from even bothering to vote.

Nada. This morning was reasobably busy. Now it is dead...exactly - the 'rats put their efforts into getting out the vote during the "extended voting period" - most who were going to vote for Kerry have done so already - now it's Bush's turn!!!......

I was under the assumption that they (MSM)all agree to wait until ALL polls were closed. I thought they agreed on this after a hearing or something after the 2000 election.

Hey look guys, the worse case senario looks like Kerry wins and we pick up a couple Senate seats and keep the house. This means Kerry will not be able to get anything done. The super majority for a vote on judges that the dems created will come back to haunt them.

I don't think that 'not being able to get anything done' is what the country needs right now. We need strong wartime leadership. Iraq is not a separate entity. It is only one battle in the WOT. If the traitor wins, can you imagine what the Islamofascists will do to try and extort the '08 election?

At 5:30 two precincts in N Palm Beach County were dead; no lines, very few cars in parking lots.
