VIA: DRUDGE Campaigns await for first wave of exit polls!
I recall in 2002 drudge had exit polls showing that Elizabeth Dole losing big to Bowles in the NC senate race. Yet Dole ending up crushing Bowles, so take any news good or bad with a box of salt
i dare you to go post this over at DU.
You'll probably kill about a thousand cockroaches just by planting that little graphic....
What a coincidence, I was just listening to the Fulsome Prison Blues.
Didnt we get something like that early in 2000?
That was an election where we didn't even know that the whole future of the free world was at stake.
I am in such a state right now I feel like I've got ADD.
I'm praying for the same thing! I wish he would hurry up and update that page. I'm going nuts waiting to hear!!!!
I am hoping Drudge's headline also adds: "Rosie O'Donnell impales herself on a maple bar doughnut."
Don't worry too much, we're working hard on this end of the country to make it an early evening for you guys......just make sure you vote.....don't let the Dim RATS surpres (depress- has about the same meaning) your vote!
That sounds exactly like my day! Get the kids breakfast, check FR, take girls to school, check FR, get boys snack, check FR...

No, in the afternoon of Election Day 2000, Drudge reported "Squeaker for Bush".
Boy, was that an understatement or what?
exit polls were off by a lot in 2002 and i don't think they were that accurate as of 2000. i believe drudge showed bush taking a few states that gore ended up with turning the election into a nailbiter.
Pray for W and Our Election
I'm not certain if this is the AP's first time reporting, though certainly they didn't handle it last time.
I'm just remembering this organization has lied about Bush and his rallies, a DNC mouthpiece it has become. Even if results look good, I can't trust them.
Everyone just needs to stay calm, vote, get people out to vote, pray and look at all exit polling with a sceptical eye till votes are officially counted.
If Bush has done well in the early voting...how does that show up in the Exit Polls or do they weight the exit polls with early voting results....
Bush has a lead going into today....
That was my experience too. I popped the champagne when Bush was declared the winner then the rest of the bottle sat for a month-and-a-half while Gore contested the outcome. When I finally got to finish it, it was flat.
That's different. They acknowledged those numbers were wrong as soon as they got them. No one took them seriously.
i dare you to go post this over at DU.
That would be priceless!!! Ha-ha! Could you just see their little pasty white faces with that "deer in the headlight" look! I'd pay to see it! Especially if it would keep them at home!
