Put info and links about Washington here.
I don't know. I am just barely surviving this day. :-)
Ate more chocolate today than in the last month.
I suppose you are right. It just makes me mad how the media thinks they are doing the counting, rather than the reporting.
Even Fox is bad tonight.

John Kerry/John Edwards
Democrat 236067 47.77%
George Bush/Dick Cheney
Republican 251213 50.84%
King County precincts are not included in these numbers.
But, they haven't pulled Kerry's EV's.
It would sure be fun to ruin them all. I don't think it will happen but what a joke that would be.
King County is about a third of the WA electorate. I had a boss that used to talk about "the tail of Seattle that wags the dog of Washington". I'd be really surprised if WA went for Bush, or if it were even fairly close. Still hope for Rossi, however.
I'm listening to KVI. John Carlson and Kirby Wilbur are interviewing Maria Cant-vote-well. The interview started just as Florida was being called for Bush. John and Kirby had the pleasure of informing Maria that Florida was called and Bush is up by 4% in Ohio. I could see the sneer from Maria through the radio!! LOL I could also hear the sheer glee in John and Kirby's voice. They are great!
Maria just told them she has to go.
Cantvotewell, so sad for her. Sniff, sniff.
GO ROSSI!!!
True.
I also really hope for Reichert. I have always been impressed with him and think he would be great in the house. I was surprised the vile Ross almost caught up with Reichert in the polls.
Early returns, Murray wins over Nethercutt, Gregoire behind 46%-50%, Bush 49%, Kerry 48%
WOHOOOO!!!
After King County reported Rossi is still within striking distance of Gregoire.
Christine Gregoire
Democrat 508482 50.04%
Dino Rossi
Republican 487438 47.96%
Ruth Bennett
Libertarian 20227 1.99%

I think those are partial numbers for King, and all/most, counties. I know the Jefferson numbers are partial.
I'm sure there are still votes coming in from King County but in the initial KC report it wasn't too bad. ;-)
When all the votes are counted, I think Dino will win by a few hundred votes.
What was especially wonderful was that I only called Minnesota and Hawaii wrong. It was my best year for predictions ever. Thanks to that, I knew that Bush would win, so I celebrated. My only concern came near midnight when it sounded like Kerry was going to litigate Ohio.
I got up just in time to see that Kerry was going to concede and that Nevada had come in as I had predicted.
All in all, a damn fine night. One for the record books.
