Senator Rick Santorum also told ABC in New York that GOP officials are planning on reviewing the matter closely and if necessary will consider judicial rulings in the matter to prevent fraudulent votes from being counted.
Senator Santorum also told ABC News that it appears that GOP turnout in central Pennsylvania is already reaching by mid-day 75% of the total turnout of 2000. Central Pennsylvania is the conservative core of the state and it appears that in the new 1.7 million voters registered by Republicans in the middle of the state that the majority of them will be supporting President Bush.
My thoughts are - if Pennsylvania is already at 75% turnout in GOP districts this means the GOP turnout operation is infinitely more successful than they had anticipated. It also reflects the "energized" vote that has been so reflected in the "internals" of the poll numbers which showed that President Bush's supporters have been from the outset the far more motivated voting block in this election.

I'll prolly still stay up late enjoying my second bottle of champagne while toasting Little Tommy Daschle's DEFEAT!
What happens if Kerry takes NH and FL and we hold Ohio and win Penn? ain't that a 269-269?
Just returned from serving as Republican poll-watcher in heavily Republican central PA (working on lists to make follow-up calls for non-voters). Turnout is incredible. Long waits in suburban areas at 11:00 a.m. (i.e. not before or after work or at lunch but at 11:00 a.m.). People flocking to Republican HQ offering to help at anything. If motivating the base was the goal, mission accomplished.
The FR reports (which are highly anecdotal) are HUGH turnout in GOP strongholds.
Hopefully a long evening dancing and thanking Our Lord!
Santorum knows this state, and knows how to win this state... if he's out there calling PA already confidently, I will definately concede to his wisdom. He's not a pundit, he's a solid politician that knows his home turf.
I hope so.
I am going to be at my (liberal Dem) girlfriend's house until about 10:30. We agreed to not turn on the TV until we are already in our own homes to avoid arguments! So I won't be abreast of things till then.
Death penalty for voter fraud!
My friends son-in-law went to vote this morning before work, waited an hour and had to leave. Don't worry he will be back in line after work . I think he's Susquehanna Twship,in the burbs of Harrisburg.
It's gonna be a great night.
On tv, they're swearing it's going to be record turnout, and everyone expects that to make a Kerry victory. :( It's hard to believe, but they all seem so confident.
Be interested in seeing what's going on over at DU right now!
Suicide Watch!
I'm tired of the old Carville saw that Pennsylvania between Philly and Pittsburgh is "Alabama without the negroes."
Pennsylvania is heartland America, as representative a state of what America is all about as any. Good people, good place to live.
Well I hope she has nice, abreasts for you to be willing to date a lefty! ;-)
It really used to be that the conservative T had to battle PGH and PHL. Now, I think the PGH area is getting conservative enough that it's a wash. The problem is that the Philly suburbs are getting more liberal.
What color are you ,
On November two?,
They thought the Keystone ,
Was sure to be blue,
But somethings not right
The libs are afright,
George Bush is ahead,
The states turning RED!
Just finished 5 hours as a poll watcher in Central PA. As of noon they surpassed their highest vote count in years and stand at 70% of eligible. Extrememly heavy Republican.
I tried, but I can't get on. They seem to be having some technical difficulties!
