From Karen At NRO:
Three Bush-Cheney types have pointed this out to me today: Several Ohio polls broke for Bush last night. Esp. Zog.
Personally, tonight I want updated shots of Teddy Kennedy and Tommy Daschel sobbing and of the Hildabeast with a smile bigger than the one when the Rose Law Firm records "got lost".
Oh, around 7:30 PM the computers will begin to break down, and the next announcement will be a complete turnaround. Trust me, I'm from Oregon.
At 8 PM Central, I will be in a French language class. Hoping to see a bunch of depressed Kerry supporters in class tonight! Bwahahahahaha
On the way to work this morning a rabbit jumped out in the road ahead of me. I slowed down but it just stayed in the road running ahead of me, zigzagging. I screamed "I can't believe you're still undecided." He finally got out of my. And get this...he finally went to the RIGHT. I think that's a good omen.
***If this is over by 8 pm central, what will we do the rest of the night?***
Watch Kerry, Dashole, Teraayyyzzzaaa, Bruce Springsteen, Bubba, Bob Kerry, Chrissy Matthews, Walter Cronkite, Colmes, et al, CRY!!!!!!!!! And their heads spin around and pop off! And self-destruct!
Where in Tn do you live? I live south of Nashville. I went to the pollsat 7:00 am and it was amazing to see all of the W support!
I have thought about it! Except she is in the middle of a bankruptcy which is all Bush's fault. Nah, I am just going to accidentally lock her up and leave until about 8 PM.
We will never shut them up. We can marginalize them. Moore's dancing pig act will always have an audience.
I "flushed" a mixed district this morning for the GOP: I'd say 60% of our voters had already voted by 10:00 in that district!!
The GOTV in Dayton is working overtime. I was stunned at the number of volunteers at the BC04 center. They were having to park in the shopping center across the street. There was a LITTLE confusion about who to talk to, etc., and if I have any say, next time, we will improve on that. But otherwise, the VOLS are out! Walkers, drivers!!! We got 'em by the cajones, folks!
See my post.
Ditto in our Springboro district, and in the one I worked.
We had two bottles of champagne ready to go in 2000. We didn't get to drink them on election night, but did drink one on the night of the USSC decision and the Gore concession. At the time, we agreed that we would drink the other one in 2004 when Bush wins reelection.
I have kept that remaining bottle in my refrigerator for the last 4 years! We plan to drink it tonight! (I hope it is still good)
"Laissez Les Bon Temps Roule!"
Please, no French...
It's because you can't dispute external polls with "internal" evidence. It sounds stupid. It sounds like you are losing . . . which the Dems are!!!
Ed Goeas (sp?) from Battleground poll on Tony Snow show this morning. He said 51.2%-47.8% for Bush. Also:
Ohio: Bush by 2. MO to Bush
PA: Kerry up but Bush closing
NM: Bush up
Wisc, Minn: Too close to call
IA: Close but edge to Bush
No mention of Florida so me thinks their polling shows it solidly for Bush.
That said, God be praised for four more years!
Gloat
Ok... I went over to the other side and looked around. (Holding my breath and not touching anything) Here are my impressions:
1) Not very many posts.
2) Lots of anger.
3) Not much positive or hopeful - with the exception of lots of anger/bravado about what the are hoping to have happen.
4) Lots of whining about the media and the polls being unfair to their side (sour grapes?)
General impression: They are really nervous and worried about a Bush WIN. Keep the faith and VOTE BUSH!
Oh yeah... one more thing... You can't register today and go post. Are they afraid of a little spam????
