Voted this morning at 730, about 100 people there, took an hour. My husband (LG pinged above) went at about 645, lines were even longer then, he heard a woman say that they'd never seen turnout like this.

I've got a bottle in the fridge right now. I had one for election night 2000 but I went to bed thinking that Gore had won. Then I got a call from my daughter, who was in Hawaii at the time, at about 3:00 AM. She was all excited telling me that they had changed Florida from Gore to Bush. So I immediately turned on the TV. Anyway, to make a long story somewhat shorter, I didn't get to drink the champagne for weeks. I sure hope I don't have to wait to celebrate this time.
