For all you worry warts out there, I have some very good news from a very, very high ranking GOP insider.
In an email just sent to me, the insider writes the following:
President wins tomorrow and we end up up 3 [in the House]. Senate up 1.

Well, not as high as I'd like in the House and Senate, but I'll take it!
Keep your chins up, and get out there and vote tomorrow!
How do we know your friend is truthful? Heck, how do I know you're truthful?
Based on insider polls or a crystal ball?
Senate up 2, in my opinion. I defer to you for the rest, kiddo. You're pretty prescient.
A guy named Custer is counting the Indians.
Well MY GOP insider says Bush wins 535 to 3.
Because there's no hope for DC.
Jones is nearly down 20 points against Boxer. Thune has a much better chance of winning. Do you expect the GOP to waste that money when it could be better spent on Thune's campaign?
Think it through. Why is Jones down in the polls? Why is Boxer essentially running unopposed?

Know what you mean. I have refused to watch news for a long time now. These differing polls and opinions here are making me crazy too!
Whoever this is knows the internal polls from the RNC and Bush campaign. It isn't abnormal, they always do internal polling independent from the national services. I spoke with a HIGH up man during the election of 2000 and the internal polls for California showed we would take it. The problem of course was fraud, the polls don't take that into consideration.
CO is *not* a pickup for Rs.
IL is a *loss* for Rs.
fix the math and its +3 Rs ... get Daschle and its +4 Rs.

CO--Republican Retention
IL--Democrat Takeover
KY--Republican Retention
GA--Republican Takeover
SC--Republican Takeover
AK--Republican Retention
SD--Republican Takeover (if Dasshole is shut down in court)
LA-- (if doesn't go to runoff--Republican Takeover
1 Democrat takeover vs 3 Republican Takeovers even if other races that I didn't account for win senate seats, there is still a net Republican gain of 3 senators. I'm a betting man, and I'll bet dollars to donuts that there will be at least an increase by 8 house seats for the GOP--and don't be surprised if the electoral vote count goes somewhere between 290 and 340 votes for Bush... PA and possibly MI to Kerry, but Ohio, Florida,Wisconsin,Minnesota and Iowa to Bush..
I don't have to build anything . . . I frankly could not care less whether you believe me. And, further, I have insulted no one who has not insulted me. You want to welcome people to FR, then I suggest you don't insult them right out of the shoot.
That's exactly the way I am feeling about the Republican leadership right now. Karl (The Idiot-Savant) Rove did the marketing equivalent of Custer leaving the Gatling Guns in camp.
All opur money spent ... again ...without the big bombs being dropped on Kerry; without our best ammo being fired at the enemy. Congratulations, Karl (Keep it close) Rove.
