Score four more EVs for Dubya. We're bleeding Kerry!

Cheney would not be in Hawaii, unless Republican polls indicate a new and unexpected battleground state.

In other news residents of Honolulu are shovelling out from a snow storm. GO BUSH/CHENEY!!!

Super!

Man, if we pick up Hawaii, that would be like the Sox winning the series.

Did they mention Gore's coming too, or has the news out there realized he's just an old hack?

I can't believe on the last weekend before the election the VP is in Hawaii and the Pres is in NH. Makes me feel a bit queasy. I'm sure there is a positive way to look at it, but it escapes me at the moment.

BTW, I'm happy to see that at least someone is going to campaign out there. You guys are a state too, but candidates tend to ignore that due to time and distance concerns. It makes me feel good to know that the campaign is covering as many bases as possible.

Cheney to visit Hawaii on Sunday
Kerry's daughter plans an isle trip tomorrow
Star-Bulletin staff and news services

Vice President Dick Cheney planned a last-minute campaign event for President Bush in Hawaii and the Democrats announced that Sen. John Kerry’s eldest daughter would fly to the islands for a rally as the fight for Hawaii’s four electoral votes heated up Thursday.

Bush campaign chairman Ken Mehlman announced the Cheney trip in a telephone call to Gov. Linda Lingle in front of news media.

“I think he has a very good chance to win Hawaii,” Lingle said.

The Hawaii Democrat Party, meanwhile, announced that Alex Kerry, daughter of the Massachusetts Senator, will visit Hawaii tomorrow.

Media polls in the last week have shown the presidential race in Hawaii is a virtual dead heat.

He deserves a vacation. He'll get more rest on the round trip in the air then he ever would on the ground.

Somebody, possibly Tony Snow, said that Clinton was going to campaign in Hawaii. Sounds like the islands are getting crowded!

If W wins Hawaii, he should play "Tiny Bubbles" at his victory party.
