Brokaw: Someone has analyzed the President's military aptitude tests and yours, and concluded that he has a higher IQ than you do.
Kerry: That's great. More power. I don't know how they've done it, because my record is not public. So I don't know where you're getting that from.

God, please, please, please don't let this man win the White House.
Pray for the President and the Troops as they bring the fight to the enemies of freedom.

Copy that text (control C) and paste it on the Drudge Report Tip Sheet a few dozen times. I do that in hope that with all the tips he gets he would see it repeated over and over. If a few other people do the same a few dozen times each we could make sure he gets it in a "timely" manner.

No man or woman should be allowed to even run for the presidency without releasing all their records! Period! This is the biggest dereliction of duty on the part of the American media in HISTORY! Sooner or later they will be made to answer for this failure! One way or the other they will be held accountable!

Democrat presidential candidates never fail to amaze. Except for Mondale. The only thing that was surprising about him was that he couldn't even win friggin' Massachusetts.

With this brilliant response, the overweening gasbag manages to confirm Brokaw's premise (before he disputes it ;)).
NB: Recently posted SATs for Bush and Kerry are consistent with Brokaw's data.
This IQ differential should come as no great surprise. Every move Kerry makes, every word he utters, is downright dumb.

[Meet the Press ]Transcript for April 18 [2004]
Guest: Sen. John Kerry, D-MA, presidential candidate NBC News
Updated: 11:47 a.m. ET April 18, 2004
MR. RUSSERT: The Boston Globe reports that your commanding officer, Lieutenant Commander Grant Hibberd has suggested that you perhaps didn't earn your first Purple Heart and question whether you should have left Vietnam after six months. In order to deal with those kinds of issues, when I asked President Bush about his service in the Texas Guard, he agreed to release all his military records, health records, everything.
Would you agree to release all your military records?
SEN. KERRY:
I have. I've shown them--they're available to you to come and look at. I think that's a very unfair characterization by that person. I mean, politics is politics. The medical records show that I had shrapnel removed from my arm. We were in combat. We were in a very, very--probably one of the most frightening--if you ask anybody who was with me, the two guys who were with me, was probably the most frightening night that they had that they were in Vietnam and we're...
MR. RUSSERT:
But you'll make all your records public.
SEN. KERRY:
They are. People can come and see them at headquarters and take a look at them. I'm not going to--but I'll tell you this. I'm proud of my service. I'm proud of what we did. I know what happened. And the Navy 35 years ago made a decision and it's the Navy's decision and I think it was the right decision.

Too bad no one will call him on it, especially the Bush/Cheney team won't.
I've been so upset about this one issue that I've damn near had a stroke. WHY has Kerry gotten a pass by EVERYONE (Bush campaign included)? Why is it that Bushes military record has been given the equivalent of a rectal exam, but John Kerry hasn't even been asked WHY he hasn't signed the 180 form to release his records?
I smell a RAT and its not only a democRAT. Something really stinks on the Bush side for allowing such a major fact about Kerry's past to go hidden and unanswered. It sickens me and if Bush loses this election, I'll never forgive them for allowing it to happen. There must be some tit for tat dirt that the Kerry campaign promises to unleash if the Bush campaign brings up say, Kerry's dishonorable discharge for instance.

I see it that way also. He was way too relaxed compared to other recent appearances. It was as if it started out as a staged interview with the questions agreed upon in advance. The question was like a left hook and caught him by surprise. He was immediately off his talking points, and he made a mistake (fatal I hope) trying to respond after that. Even if Brokaw didn't pursue it which he did not, it is 'out there' now, and only a few days left to try to undo more damage.
Lockhart must have been on the next jet summoned by the sobbing sKerry.

This is huge - it's here in black-and-white that Kerry either lied to Russert or lied to Brokaw. Of course, there's not the slightest chance that he was lying to Brokaw when he said "my records aren't public." So we have to jump all over this tonight and try to get at least some media figures, Hannity and Rush if no one else, saying by tomorrow that Kerry LIED on MTP about having released his records.... if this doesn't hit the airwaves tomorrow it will be too late for this story to have a chance.

Kerry made two huge blunders tonight. He admitted that he lied about the availability of his military records and he outted Dick Gephardt's daughter. Based on what happened after the debate - I think the outting will play better in the MSM since the election is so near. We need to push both comments
To: jerod
Well Senator, when you give a really stupid answer like that, then it is pretty obvious to everyone that you are IQ Challenged.
