You missed my point, Cal...I didn't say you advised him to speak badly about FR.com recently...or ever, fer that matter. Both you and he have admittedly not been to FR.com fer years, and my comment basically said this was a warmed-over criticism that sounded like something you had told me years ago. That's it. BTW...I didn't catch his whole comment yesterday due to being in a car with poor reception, but if anything, he was not blaming you fer anything, Sean was singing yer well- deserved praises. Congrats on that.

Gosh, I can tell you haven't been on FR.com fer awhile...LOL!! The "not pure enough" criticism applies here at LP.org a lot more than at FR.com. Don't know if you checked out the recent "FreeRepublic Shot Heard Round the Internet" thread, but the complaint by ex-FReepers is that the MODS have taken over and were suspending those RightWing "fringe" posters who were unhappy with the extent of Dubyuh's conservatism. If anything, the POTB's at TOS are all-too-willing to accept anything Dubyuh tries to cram down our throats.

Sure, some folks criticize each of these folks, but that's the nature of an open Forum...the whole point of the "Shot heard round the Net" thread was that FR.com was TOO restrictive, and it almost seems like yer advocating that we rid ourselves of the folks who make negative comments about conservatives that you and I favor.

"America's top talk radio host Rush Limbaugh is planning to travel to Afghanistan next week to visit the troops and highlight the U.S. success in bringing democracy to Osama bin Laden's former headquarters.
