ABCNEWS HOLDS TERROR WARNING TAPE
**Exclusive**
In the last week before the election, ABCNEWS is holding on a videotaped message from a purported al Qaeda terrorist warning of a new attack on America, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
The terrorist claims on tape the next attack will dwarf 9/11. "The streets will run with blood," and "America will mourn in silence" because they will be unable to count the number of the dead. Further claims: America has brought this on itself for electing George Bush who has made war on Islam by destroying the Taliban and making war on Al Qaeda.
ABCNEWS strongly denies holding the tape back from broadcast over political concerns during the last days of the election.
The CIA is analyzing the tape, a top federal source tells the DRUDGE REPORT.
ABCNEWS obtained the tape from a source in Waziristan, Pakistan over the weekend, sources tells DRUDGE.
"We have been working 24 hours a day trying to authenticate [the tape]," a senior ABCNEWS source said Wednesday morning.
The terrorist's face is concealed by a head dress, and speaks in an American accent, making it difficult to identify the individual, but US intelligence officials believe that man may be Adam Gadhan - aka Adam Pearlman - a southern California native who was highlighted by the FBI in May as an individual most likely to be involved in or have knowledge of the next al Qaeda attacks.
According to the FBI, Gadahn, 25, attended al-Qaida training camps and served as an al-Qaida translator.
The disturbing tape runs an hour -- the man simply identifies himself as 'Assam the American.'

In all fairness, I would give them about an hour to turn it over, anything longer and they were doing one or more things....
1) Considering the political/election impact of the tape.
2) Considering how they could personally gain.
Nothing, aboslutely nothing, should have prevented them from notifiying the authorities in a timely manner. If true, they were playing with every Americans life.
We need a major boycott of the MSM until a Congressional Investigation is ordered!

I have reminded liberal airheads in Calif. that if 9/11 had been nuclear we would have had to stay out of the area for hundreds of years. And they could have hit Calif., too. They had planned a much larger attack on 9/11.

Fox's Bret Baier reporting from the Pentagon, said he learned a little before 1 pm EST. He said he heard from a senior administration official that the U.S. government has been looking at the tape for the last day. The speaker on the tape speaks in what the Fox source called, “disturbingly fluent English.”
The tape had been circulating within the government for about a day; the feds don't have certification on authenticity, but expect to have it later today.
Fox sources said ABC's Brian Ross received the tape from a source in Pakistan.
Are you prone to preminitions? I mean, have you had them in the past and they turned out to be true? I ask because there are some people like this.
The Big Story is that ABC held back a terrorist tape for 3-4 days from the CIA. I want some convictions and jail time over this. Unfreakinbelievable, ABC should be shut down and put out of business if this is true.
If we did not have Drudge - we might not ever have even heard about this tape - just like monica. There are no more spikes left in the Media - too many good folk embedded with the enemy who have Matt's (Rush'es, our, etc.) email.

Okay, I'm a little late to this thread, but from what I've gathered and skimmed, they are threatening a terrorist attack IF Bush is re-elected, i.e. trying to influence the election in Kerry's favor by blackmail?
