Okay, I'm a little late to this thread, but from what I've gathered and skimmed, they are threatening a terrorist attack IF Bush is re-elected, i.e. trying to influence the election in Kerry's favor by blackmail?

That is how I am reading it too...Basically ABC holding it until Bush is declared the winner then saying, "Look what you did America...now they are coming after us"..

ABC/CBS are piss poor organizations who can not grasp what being an American means.

Actually he doesn't say IF President Bush is re-elected but he says the attack is FOR re-electing President Bush.

The terrorist claims on tape the next attack will dwarf 9/11. "The streets will run with blood," and "America will mourn in silence" because they will be unable to count the number of the dead. Further claims: America has brought this on itself for electing George Bush who has made war on Islam by destroying the Taliban and making war on Al Qaeda.

It has nothing to do with 2004. ABC isn't airing it because of Kerry's pathetic position on terror. Two weeks ago he said the threat of terror is exaggerated by The Bush administration.
