ABCNEWS HOLDS TERROR WARNING TAPE
**Exclusive**
In the last week before the election, ABCNEWS is holding on a videotaped message from a purported al Qaeda terrorist warning of a new attack on America, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
The terrorist claims on tape the next attack will dwarf 9/11. "The streets will run with blood," and "America will mourn in silence" because they will be unable to count the number of the dead. Further claims: America has brought this on itself for electing George Bush who has made war on Islam by destroying the Taliban and making war on Al Qaeda.
ABCNEWS strongly denies holding the tape back from broadcast over political concerns during the last days of the election.
The CIA is analyzing the tape, a top federal source tells the DRUDGE REPORT.
ABCNEWS obtained the tape from a source in Waziristan, Pakistan over the weekend, sources tells DRUDGE.
"We have been working 24 hours a day trying to authenticate [the tape]," a senior ABCNEWS source said Wednesday morning.
The terrorist's face is concealed by a head dress, and speaks in an American accent, making it difficult to identify the individual, but US intelligence officials believe that man may be Adam Gadhan - aka Adam Pearlman - a southern California native who was highlighted by the FBI in May as an individual most likely to be involved in or have knowledge of the next al Qaeda attacks.
According to the FBI, Gadahn, 25, attended al-Qaida training camps and served as an al-Qaida translator.
The disturbing tape runs an hour -- the man simply identifies himself as 'Assam the American.'

Their main concern right now is to get President Bush out of the White House. They will say anything, do anything to accomplish that goal.
Regardless, if they perceived kerry as being as strong on terrorism as President Bush, this threat would have been worded differently. IOW, the threat would address the actions both men would take to finish the job."
Personally, I do not believe that because the threatened, they will not take it one step further. I am not an alarmist, but the cold reality is if they see this threat as stengtheneing our resolve, we must all be prepared for them to take it to the next level before the election.
BTW--kids will be out on the streets this weekend. Halloween is Sunday (although in my neck of the woods, Forsyth County GA by county ordinance it is Saturday night--I hate when they do that). Keep your eyes open, watch your kids, pay attention to your surroundings, and yes, have fun.
Last year, a whole truck load of candy went missing. I remember, because my kids weren't allowed to eat any until 24 hours had passed. I e-mailed the news articles to friends with kids.
That candy would be pretty stale by now, though.
It was also reported that India was planning to cash out $120 billion in U.S. Treasury Bonds, and Russia was looking at doing something similar. This type of thing could have a greater impact than anything the terrorists would be likely to pull off. I feel like everyone may be leaving the table and we will be stuck with the check.

You're right, apologies, I was reacting to only 1-2 comments on the thread that seemed to be demanding that ABC air the tape. But you are correct, the tape should have been sent to Homeland Security within minutes or hours of being seen by ABC staff.

The guy on the tape is supposedly from California. English isn't his second language. They have been trying to hit us again since 911. It has nothing to do with Bush being re-elected or Kerry being elected.

Listen, it's what they reported. It matches the "day or so" from FNC. You can choose to assume it's all false if you so desire.

I suspect that we WOULD see another major attack if Kerry is elected. Both Presidents' Clinton and Bush43 were less than a year into their administrations when the WTC was bombed both times.
Best opportunity for them to strike is during the changing of the guard.
John Kerry would still blame the previous administration for "not making America safer". If we compare international attacks on US interests 2001-2004 to 1997-2001, we will see that we were safer (in the post 9-11 time frame when all of America realized that yes we had let this threat go on too long).
They won't give specific details because obviously then we might foil the attack, but the peculiar Islamic 'code of honor' actually requires them to first give the infidels a chance to repent and convert to Islam, then to warn their targets before a strike. Otherwise they are not acting in a 'holy and godly' manner as they kill thousands of innocent people for 'god'.
Just the same I for one feel a lot safer knowing that the Bush admin. will thoroughly investigate every threat. Complacency could literally kill us.

Here in MIZZOU, the LAW ENF. agencies raided the local AL QUEDA mosque/hangout/HQ, in Columbia Missouri.
Maybe it will be at one of the west coast ports and Kerry can say that if Bush was serious about homeland security he would have checked all the cargo coming in.
