ABCNEWS HOLDS TERROR WARNING TAPE
**Exclusive**
In the last week before the election, ABCNEWS is holding on a videotaped message from a purported al Qaeda terrorist warning of a new attack on America, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
The terrorist claims on tape the next attack will dwarf 9/11. "The streets will run with blood," and "America will mourn in silence" because they will be unable to count the number of the dead. Further claims: America has brought this on itself for electing George Bush who has made war on Islam by destroying the Taliban and making war on Al Qaeda.
ABCNEWS strongly denies holding the tape back from broadcast over political concerns during the last days of the election.
The CIA is analyzing the tape, a top federal source tells the DRUDGE REPORT.
ABCNEWS obtained the tape from a source in Waziristan, Pakistan over the weekend, sources tells DRUDGE.
"We have been working 24 hours a day trying to authenticate [the tape]," a senior ABCNEWS source said Wednesday morning.
The terrorist's face is concealed by a head dress, and speaks in an American accent, making it difficult to identify the individual, but US intelligence officials believe that man may be Adam Gadhan - aka Adam Pearlman - a southern California native who was highlighted by the FBI in May as an individual most likely to be involved in or have knowledge of the next al Qaeda attacks.
According to the FBI, Gadahn, 25, attended al-Qaida training camps and served as an al-Qaida translator.
The disturbing tape runs an hour -- the man simply identifies himself as 'Assam the American.'

I would like to know the answer to that question too, but the answer could be something as simple as the ABC reporter being the least sophisticated or least threatening and the most hungry for a scoop.
And I get most of my news from FR, Drudge, Fox News, Rush, etc.
I would never say that Since Bush became President, the terrorists have not attacked us. Just like Kerry's empty campaign promises.
We have been attacked, in one way or another DAILY by the terrorists.
Most of these attacks have been intercepted and stopped. Some not. None have been MAJOR. The fact that MAJOR attacks have been avoided, and most minor ones stopped as well, is what I Thank President Bush for.
Yes, our President is a great man, not because he is a super-hero who singlehandedly stops terrorism (like Kerry will want you to believe), but because he has experience in large corporate business (like government), he has experience in politics and diplomacy, he has experience in private industry and state economics, and he can look a man in the eye, and tell the truth about him.
President Bush put together an amazing force of Americans in the various offices under the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. Rumsfeld, Cheney, Rice, etc. He takes their advice, mulls it over and comes up with the best plan for the people of the UNITED STATES. He uses their best talent's to benefit the American People.
Company heads come and go, Politicians do to.
The difference is whether they were a BOSS or a LEADER.
A BOSS tells everyone what to do, to force them to support his egotistical plans.
A LEADER, listens, inspires, gathers cooperation, takes responsibility for decisions.

If the terrorists believe that making a threat against the US if "Bush wins" is a good strategy, why don't they actually strike America BEFORE the election and demand we stop our wars and evict President Bush? BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT A TERRORIST ACT BEFORE THE ELECTION WILL DRAW SUPPORT FOR BUSH.

Here in So. Calif. at 10:45 am emergency alert interrupted FOX news and said to dial channel 6 for more info. They announced an emergency test of the siren/alarm at San Onofre power plant. Maybe this is a routine test, but I don't recall having them announce it this way before.

Interestingly, I'm in a suburb of Indianapolis, and we have heard them over our house very early in the morning a couple of times this month. So loud, the entire family woke up thinking something was about to hit the house.
My town isn't on that map. One hour south of Houston. But we could be moving to LA again soon. And we are close to Houston and go there a lot. Plus we are on the coast which is lined with chemical plants. We have beefed up security at the plants.
And before Stossel got the top job at ABC's 20/20, John Miller sat next to Walters. Miller is now head of Homeland Security in Los Angeles.
