ABCNEWS HOLDS TERROR WARNING TAPE
**Exclusive**
In the last week before the election, ABCNEWS is holding on a videotaped message from a purported al Qaeda terrorist warning of a new attack on America, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
The terrorist claims on tape the next attack will dwarf 9/11. "The streets will run with blood," and "America will mourn in silence" because they will be unable to count the number of the dead. Further claims: America has brought this on itself for electing George Bush who has made war on Islam by destroying the Taliban and making war on Al Qaeda.
ABCNEWS strongly denies holding the tape back from broadcast over political concerns during the last days of the election.
The CIA is analyzing the tape, a top federal source tells the DRUDGE REPORT.
ABCNEWS obtained the tape from a source in Waziristan, Pakistan over the weekend, sources tells DRUDGE.
"We have been working 24 hours a day trying to authenticate [the tape]," a senior ABCNEWS source said Wednesday morning.
The terrorist's face is concealed by a head dress, and speaks in an American accent, making it difficult to identify the individual, but US intelligence officials believe that man may be Adam Gadhan - aka Adam Pearlman - a southern California native who was highlighted by the FBI in May as an individual most likely to be involved in or have knowledge of the next al Qaeda attacks.
According to the FBI, Gadahn, 25, attended al-Qaida training camps and served as an al-Qaida translator.
The disturbing tape runs an hour -- the man simply identifies himself as 'Assam the American.'

Amen. I'm with you on that one. Witholding terrorist information? Isn't that a criminal act?
If a terrorist attack occurs, this can be placed at the feet of ABC news for not giving the Pentagon and the CIA enough time to ramp up security and protect Americans. 3-4 days is a month where terrorist activities are concerned.

The threat of an attack as a consequence of electing Bush the first time around is beneficial to Bush. It basically says, as it's already been pointed out, that the terrorists prefer John Kerry (obviously).
If they don't hit us before the election and Bush is re-elected, it's a disaster for the jihadists. They'll have come up emtpy when it counts the most (when they needed to defeat Bush).
I have a feeling we're about to see their best shot. Let's hope our best can stop them.

HERE COMES THE SPIN;;;;; Kerry can go one of two ways with this...
1. This President new that ABC NEWS had a direct threat tape and he did nothing about it. No terror warning increases no public warning. I will make sure that Homeland Security is the top issue blah blah blah
or
2. This President is playing on the fears of the American people waiting until a few days left in a campaign before dropping a terror threat on the public. I will make sure that threats are investigated and the public is properly warned because Security is the top issue... blah blah blah...

Yeah I do. IMHO, if Ridge comes out with a new terror level, it gives skerry new campaign jabber.....ie, made up to sway election. If, however, MSM comes out with it first, gen public will think REAL threat.
