2. This President is playing on the fears of the American people waiting until a few days left in a campaign before dropping a terror threat on the public. I will make sure that threats are investigated and the public is properly warned because Security is the top issue... blah blah blah...

What Kerry SHOULD say, he should say something like Hey, terrorists, F - U! When I'm elected president, I am going to hunt you down and kill you anyways!

Of course, it doesn't sound sincere, but he should say it..

I disagree. If the people see this video, they will realize it is not GWB's face they are seeing but a terrorist. Can't put the blame on Bush here.

Your points are good.

But point #1 might make skerry look like an alarmist (and nuance-boy says this is just a nuisance).

And re. your point #2: he might accuse the Pres. of playing on Americans fears... Well, skerry, when terrorists threaten us with claims that "the next attack will dwarf 9/11. "The streets will run with blood," and "America will mourn in silence" because they will be unable to count the number of the dead." - sounds like they're threatening to use a Weapon of Mass Destruction. So it's the terrorists who are attempting to play on our fears, not the President (and smart people will recognize that).

I'm curious to see how the other alphabets are going to cover this and when.
