Even IF Kerry is losing Florida, he wouldn't pull out.

Even if he loses the election, he isn't conceding.

True or not--it just makes more sense for kerry to concentrate on OH, PA, WI, MN.

After all, if he wins the gore states plus OH, he doesn't need FL.

Hhhhmmmm, what if the Monday morning (OCTOBER SURPRISE) New York Times paper drop on Florida has caused backlash? Ya think?

I believe some of the internals of the FL Polls show that 60% of Florida's Hispanic voters support President Bush, as well as twice the amount Jewish voters than in 2000, and an increase from 9% to 23% of Black voters since 2000, and little change in the Senior Citizen vote.

I can easily see how the RATS would consider conceding Florida

That's what he did in Vietnam too!

Although Tony Snow isn't supposed to show his preference on TV, he is a true Bush partisan on his radio show. Wouldn't put it past him to put this out as more of a possibility than is really known, just to maybe demoralize some voters from going to vote.

I find this very disturbing:

WP internals point to a real split in our society that I wish wasn't there.

Today they have Kerry up 2 over Bush and here's why:

Whites: Bush 55 Kerry 42
Blacks: Bush 7 Kerry 92

Thats the most lopsided Black vote split I've ever seen.

What in the world about Kerry appeals to Blacks?

Are the pollsters really calling enough Blacks to get an accurate take?

Too early for Kerry to concede Florida, and it's hard to see how he wins without it.

Would the opposite be true then? Kerry has Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, which I think would give him the win?

I still think President Bush is going to win going away...

How many Electoral College votes does France have? Kerry's gonna win BIG there.

I do too! The polls are missing something big. A lot of Demos just are going to stay home or bite their tongues and vote Bush and say they didn't.

BTW: Son finished mission and is now learning Pashtu in AF language school.

I thought he was up to 20% too, but not what Washington Post is saying.

ARG is a very left leaning poll. Compare Gallup and some of the others.

Pssst... Hey, Senator Kerry... a little advice...

You're right to abandon Florida. It's gone. And you can skip all those Great Lakes states the last week, too, 'cause you got them locked up. No reason to spend any more time or money in Ohio.

Where you need to go, John, is the Carolinas. Yep. Great chance for a couple of upset wins. After all, your running mate was born in SC and raised in NC. Frankly, John, if I were you, I'd spend the entire last week in North and South Carolina.

Trust me on this, John. You'll thank me later.

Your old bud, who wants only the best for you,

SNC

What in the world about Kerry appeals to Blacks?

I believe the (D) behind his name has something, no, everything, to do with it . . .

Because if it weren't for that, I can garun-damn-tee you he doesn't appeal to blacks in the slightest--aloof, disconnected frost-belt liberal, funkless, unhip, no connection to the black culture in any way, shape or form. He's the whitest white boy ever to run for president.
