Pssst... Hey, Senator Kerry... a little advice...

You're right to abandon Florida. It's gone. And you can skip all those Great Lakes states the last week, too, 'cause you got them locked up. No reason to spend any more time or money in Ohio.

Where you need to go, John, is the Carolinas. Yep. Great chance for a couple of upset wins. After all, your running mate was born in SC and raised in NC. Frankly, John, if I were you, I'd spend the entire last week in North and South Carolina.

Trust me on this, John. You'll thank me later.

Your old bud, who wants only the best for you,

SNC

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Democratic vice presidential candidate John Edwards will hold a campaign rally Friday evening before a hometown crowd in Raleigh, the Kerry-Edwards campaign announced Tuesday.

Edwards, his wife, Elizabeth, and eldest daughter, Cate, will be at Dorton Arena on the N.C. State Fairgrounds. John and Elizabeth Edwards also will return to Raleigh to vote early, the campaign said. Details about where they will vote weren't available Tuesday.

Rock musician Jon Bon Jovi will warm up the crowd with a few songs Friday before Edwards takes the arena stage, campaign spokesman Ashley Turton said late Tuesday. Bon Jovi has been on the road performing at John Kerry rallies in recent weeks.

Come on down...we'll have some fun. :-)
