George W. Bush will win this years presidential election, according to the American Political Science Association. The group developed seven models of the election results, six of which had Bush on top.
The APSA used nine distinguished and nonpartisan political scientists to predict the outcome of the race, according to a press release. An average of the experts results shows that Bush will receive 53.8 percent of the popular vote.
Only one of the seven models predicts a narrow victory for Senator John Kerry, while all others show a solid lead for Bush.
The biggest Bush lead comes from Brad Lockerbie of the University of Georgia, who predicts that Bush will receive 57.6 percent of the popular vote. Lockerbie examined party control of the White House, as well as Americans financial expectations over the next year.
Political scientists from several universities around the country used a wide range of historical information and current data, including the economy, the polls, and Bushs status as an incumbent. A big consideration was also the amount of time each party has controlled the White House.
The results of this study will be published in the October issue of the American Political Science Association journal, PS: Political Science and Politics.
Bush 53.8% Kerry 45.2%
Very interesting. I do hope their findings are correct!
But, professors? Hmmm.
In any case, Viva Bush!

The only thing that worries me is this election is like no other. With the complicit MSM and fraud, I am concerned. Otherwise - Bush landslide.
Oxymoron alert.
Last minute ultra-dirty Rat trick - .2 or .3 squeaker for Bush? Last minute really good Oct. surprise for Bush - 3 or 4 point Bush win.
Stay tuned for this Sunday night..
I will be releasing the final "CAMEC" computer model that I have devised.. (Search CAMEC on Free REpublic for older ones).
My computer model will forecast the EXACT VOTE COUNT for each candidate in each state .
An interesting article, and hopefully an accurate one (based on their projections), I wonder if Joe Taranto is any relation to James Taranto of the Wall Street Journal's 'Best of the Web' feature?
Next Tuesday we will all learn something about whether God exists or not, i.e., it will be established that He does indeed exist, and if He wishes to continue blessing America, we will see President Bush re-elected.
On the other hand, if God chooses to begin judging and cursing America, we will all witness the American version of the Abomination of Desolation when Kerry takes up residence in the White House.
Vote as if the life of our Country depends on it.
It does.
Vote for President George W. Bush.
Sad as it makes me to say, but I fear the second he is elected and no longer has to face reelection GWB is going to throw the borders wide open and invite all the criminals and terrorist to "Come On Down" free DL's, free healthcare, free food. Everything is free to illegals, only we the American citizens will have to pay for all of it.
Sounds good - but do the political scientists take into account all the cheating, false charges of voter fraud, and liberal court case possibilities brought on by the 10,000 lawyers?
One week left - let's do all we can to STOP the media wing of the Dem party from trying to sabotage this election!
Unfortunately, a group like this (perhaps the same group) had Gore winning big in 2000. Nice on paper, but not reliable.
My dear, you need to get a life :)
If Bush wins by 8% of the popular vote it is going to be a landslide!
If it winds up a 14% of the popular vote it will be a landslide reminicent of 84.
Hah! Did any of there models include %4 Vote-Fraud in favor of F'ing?
If not, then all their models are flawed.
Now if we can only get through this week. This is the loooooongest week of the election season because you never know when they are going to toss Da Bomb to scare people from Bush to Kerry nor what it will be nor how damaging it will be.
We have to hang in there and DON'T BE COMPLACENT.
