[history]
From the article by Guardian columnist Charlie Brooker:
"On November 2, the entire civilised world will be praying, praying Bush loses. And Sod's law dictates he'll probably win, thereby disproving the existence of God once and for all. The world will endure four more years of idiocy, arrogance and unwarranted bloodshed, with no benevolent deity to watch over and save us. John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Hinckley Jr - where are you now that we need you?"

What the cretin meant is the world will have to endure four more years of their PiNkO commie idiocy cloaked in their unwarranted arrogance that ASSassination is the answer to their final solution. You bet this crackpot is on the CIA's list and he no doubt bathes in all it's infamy otherwise the poor attention greedy SOB would ( gasp) feel so insignificant. The true sign of tyrants. Oh sigh, so many alpha males, so little space left on earth.
What's it about Alfie, I know there's something much more.

I'm ready ... indeed perhaps eager ... for the other side to start rocking and rolling! The sooner we get it over with the sooner good people stop paying regular extortion money to the ne'r-do-wells of this world.

I remember about 1993 or 1994, there was a convention of young Republicans where somebody joked about the then President Clinton, "Lee Harvey Oswald and John Wilkes Booth, where are you when we need you?!" There was a huge flap about it for a few days and I think the Secret Service did investigate only to find it was made in jest. Similarly, there was a caller about that same time to KDKA-AM radio (Pittsburgh) on the morning John Cigna (then) show where the caller said, "President Clinton will not live through his first term." The FBI/Secret Service requested the tapes, IIRC, of KDKA-AM. Lastly, during my online Fidonet days in the 1988 George Bush/Michael Dukakis race, one of the liberal posters told the story where he was going by the Bush/Quayle rally and he made the remark of, "somebody should toss a hand grenade at both of them (Bush and Quayle were together) and do the country a service." The Secret Service detained him for a few hours until it was clear he was just shooting off his mouth.
My own personal story is not a Presidential one but I remember my mother and I helping a friend of hers to the airport, first security made me turn on my police scanner so they know that it was a radio receiver not a bomb. I tuned in the control tower and they were satisfied. I'm an amateur radio operator, I had to turn on my 2 meter hand held too. The second thing could have been the crumpler, as I was laying her huge suitcase on the scale, my mom's friend said, "well here is my old BOMB!" I saw the ticket agent, his eyes got big like a deer's in the headlights of a car and I said for both her and him to hear, "um, that was a poor choice of words there." The ticket agent agreed with me. I believe 9-11 was still a little over a year into the future, but even then you had to be careful. If it happened post 9-11, I think it would have been possible that we could have been detained for an hour or two until security determines we wouldn't be a threat. I doubt in these cases unless you're unruly and disruptive, you would be charged with anything but you could end up with a few hours of aggrivation. I think a similar case like that occured in the late 1960's or early 1970's when Pittsburgh Pirate Roberto Clemente told a bomb joke while the plane was waiting to taxi, he was taken off the plane and security detained him until the next flight.

One more thing, should someone drop a dime to Homeland Security about the Guardian? I know they are outside the US but maybe HS could forward it to the people who need to know.

I was thinking that we should put him on the 'no fly list'. Then file a law suit with the World Court for inciting terror and mayhem.

I called Secret Service in Philly. They took the information down and are going to call me. I saved the article. This is beyond the pale.
Well, looks like you took up my suggestion (before I made it) to "drop a dime" on The Guardian. Let us know what come of it.

Here's mine:
Indeed, I too will be praying for the reporters and editors of the Guardian. How Christian of you to seek the death the President of the United States. How funny, how really funny. I'm sure all your editors and Mr. Brooker are still laughing over the deaths of Lincoln and Kennedy and the shooting of Ronald Reagan.
Perhaps Mr. Brooker can next hope Mr. and Mrs. Blair go speeding through the Paris tunnels.

I thought this was a pretty good line. I'll have to remember it for future, more appropriate use.
Every time he recalls a statistic (either from memory or the voice in his head), he flashes us a dumb little smile, like a toddler proudly showing off its first bowel movement.

NOPE... Been Hoseing democrats down since they made democracy a beneficial word.. I'm special.. a Republitroll.. I make Oscar the Grouch look like neat freak..
Democracy does suck you know.. Mob Rule, Mobster politics, a Government Protection scam on a scam scale even bigger than Insurance Companys buncko scam.. More heinous than Hillarys hiney.. Uglier than a love child created from a liason between Helen Thomas and Henry Waxman or Arafat.. and smells worse than Michael Moores shorts.. Dumber than a child from Al Franken and Rosie O'Donell.. has less morality than a deal made in a smoke filled back room with Satan.. Democracy sucks like Richard Simmons locked in a sausage factory..
A hard job but somebody just has to do it..

My God, where are these folks headed if not to total anarchy. This is not only a very dark time in our nation's history, it is a time when the bright light of global advancement is being extinguished at an alarming rate.
It is my opinion, that the left in our nation has allied itself with those who would turn out those lights forever. May God have mercy on their souls. I won't.
Yeah, you and me both, I'm losing patience with that crowd too. I think we are at a crossroads in history here, we will go down either the path of freedom, honor and enlightenment or we will enter a new Dark Age. November 2nd is crucial here, if we lose the White House, we lose a lot of backing and energy for the war on terror, true we still have Tony Blair, Howard in Australia, and even Vladimir Putin to a limited extent but President Bush is like the glue that holds everything together.
