Following Millar's lead, Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling went on ESPN yesterday and described Rodriguez' actions as "bush league," adding that such a thing was "not nexpected."

Yup.I was glad to see him go from here. All that boy wants is a World Series ring. That's it. Nothing else matters - who he plays for, his fans... nothing. Just the ring. I'm just glad it was my Red Sox who helped him miss the chance this time around... He's a punk. Period.
Alex may be a jerk, but he's not a fraud.
Isn't A-Rod a Bush supporter? I thought he was.
He is.
ARod is not a victim. He was the perpertrator of attempted theft of a ballgame, and he was caught on film. He swatted at the ball like a girlieman, the mickey mouse white gloves gave him away, lol.
I would guess the majority of pro athletes are pro-GOP and pro-Bush, even though a majority are black. For some odd reason they don't like the idea of working their tails off, being very successful at what they do because of their hard work and excellence, and then giving a third or half their money away in taxes. Some people. Sheesh.
So is A rod

"There's some funny history associated with that term. "
What a great story- thanks for posting it:) They then became the Atlanta Braves, yes? I like the thought "Bushville Wins"! I think I'll hold that thought in mind !!!!
Happy Red Sox fan:)
I was rooting for Boston because of Shilling.
Me too. And I thought he was the toughest player in baseball before Game 6. He's amazing.
I still have my Curt Schilling poster from the D-backs win over the Yankees in 2001. Curt still lives here off season and went to high school in PHX. Funny thing, he didn't pitch in HS.
I taped game 7 of the 2001 series. I always put on the last three innings when I need to be cheered up. I had trouble watching it live (hands over my face). :)
I'm glad Curt is doing well in Boston. I sure do miss him.
(Actually I miss all the D-backs from 2001...with the exception of Gonzo and Randy they're all gone!)
I don't follow baseball that closely. What exactly happened in game 6?
He already has one from Arizona a couple years ago. Played for the Phillies for a long time, then to the Diamonbacks, and I think now Boston. Used to follow him when he was with the Phils but not so anymore. If the Reds win he will have played a big part in it.
Great guy
I mentioned earlier that I thought Curt Schilling had posted on the Free Republic forum before, but I guess I was a little confused. What I was recalling was the following open letter that he released. This guy is IMHO a real American hero:

Curt Schilling's letter to America
I was speaking of A_Rod, not Schilling (I watched the Diamondbacks and Yankees World Series, and of course I rooted for the Diamondbacks LOL)
I have seen lots of athletes for Bush. None for Lard Face. I just watched Bush at Wachovia Area in Wilkes Barre. WOW it was a full house and he dogged Kerry.
Love W
Oh c'mon already. He tried to knock the ball out of a guy's glove. Big deal. He's one of the greatest baseball players ever. A "girlieman"? That's absurd. Oh, the beauty of being an anonymous fatarsed internet jockey.
