It IS disrespectful to our military who are fighting the insurgents daily while re-building Iraq to say that it is a "mess." IS it a mess to see the children of Iraq attending the schools that our military built? Is it a mess to see their happy grinning faces handing out flowers to our military? Is it a mess to see them-- the future of the Iraqies-- hugging our soldiers?
If you only watch the alphabet media, sure, it is a mess. Nothing good is coming out of Iraq, but give our military some credit eh?
How would you "feeeeelllll" if you were a fireman trying to put out a fire and saved a lot of people from a burning apartment building and all they talked about was the few dead, and talk about what a mess it was?

Where O'Reilly's sympathies really lie is apparently a hot topic for O'Reilly himself. He's the only one who really knows, but for a few weeks now he reports on the results on his online poll which asks viewers who they think his show favors, Bush, Kerry, or no one. It's a pretty weird thing to conduct a poll about, if you think about it. Almost like he's looking for direction.

I have never been in the military, my husband is a Viet vet.. I would imagine the word "mess" could be a synonym for "war" in that something that is unpredictable and dangerous is bound to be messy. That is why I am constantly amazed to hear Kerry and even military "experts" on the cable shows, accusing Bush of being a lousy president because he didn't anticipate and "know" everything that was gonna happen from the moment we crossed the border of Iraq to this very moment. Who was it that said that every war plan last until the first enemy contact or something like that?
I would just surmise that every war is messy until the bad guys are defeated.
