O'Reilly just said "Iraq is a mess"
Thank you, that means a lot coming from you. I have seen your posts for a while and I have seen what a stong advocate you are for the military. Keep it up, for all of us and our troops. God Bless You.
My TV STAYS on FOX News during the entire day.But here lately, when Mr. O comes on, I switch to SOMETHING / ANYTHING else for that hour and then switch back when he's over. I wonder if FOX will notice?
Here the last year or two, it seems I don't know O'Reilly .....
Incredibly how some here are overreacting to a comment. Relatively speaking, BOR is far better than most of those on other channels. That does not mean he doesn't deserve criticism. But just as attacks on Bush about NG only backfired (a nonissue), so stupid and false attacks on BOR will also. No wonder his ratings have jumped.
News Corp. President Endorses Kerry
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1185129/posts
"According to the Kerry for President campaign, News Corp. President and chief operating officer Peter Chernin has endorsed the Democratic presidential candidate. News Corp. owns Fox News Channel."
And now they're trying to drag us down with Bill O'Reilly's (contrived?) scandal and example of what we're all supposed to be. ...Democrat plot?
As for O'Reilly, I've known he was coming from the left for several years.
I have watched his show for a very long time (probably from the beginning). I watched his show tonight, but it will be the last one I watch. I have been gradually watching less and less of his show. His treatment of the Vets for Truth and ignorant comments on the War on Terror and Iraq have become the straw that broke the camel's back for me.
Prior to O'Wildy's current situation he admitted on one of his shows that he/they (Fox) were aware that his viewership had gone down. That may be why he is looking for direction. Remember he also asked whether he should have that Kelly (sp?) woman on.
I tune into his radio show sometimes. He acts more smug and arrogant on the radio than he does on FNC. He makes it very obvious that he's voting for Kerry. Refers to Rush as a right wing "bomb thrower". COmes off like HE is the only one who is objective out of all the political commentators.
What a load of BS.
And what's worse is to hear E.D. Hill on the other microphone acting like his lapdog. Completely different from how she is on the morning show.
"What segment would that belong in? Back of the Book, or Unresolved Problems?"
I'd day it belongs in Factor Focus.
I don't have much trouble believing that O'Reilly is a sex addict. One had only to see him drooling over the porn stars and madames that he had on his show as "guests".
There is much, much more to the O'Reilly story. Like his trips to Thailand.
LOL Nice.
How ya doin', guy, with 12 days to go?
Life in my red state is very nervous.
Dave S
txradioguy is a FReeper who was in Iraq

O'Reilly changed and lost my respect when he burned that mom trying to get her two daughters out of Saudi Arabia by bringing them to London the weekend she and a group of congresscritters went to SA to plead her case.
O'Reilly sat up there and smugly told the woman that "if they had REALLY wanted to leave they could have walked out with me.."
Tell me Bill do you walk on water too?
Doing good my friend. Been having a battle of wits with the five Libs in my hometown on a local discussion board. Tonk can attest that those idiots brought knives to a gunfight! LOL!
Other thatn that my home red state...and the red state where I'm stationed are pretty solid.
"You dont have enough confidence in Bush and our troops that you have to fight every imagined dissing."
I think what Tonk and the rest of us in uniform get tired of, is hearing these talking heads who don't have the stones to set foot in Iraq sit there every night and tell us what a "mess" Iraq is.
No it's not perfect but, despite what the MSM tells us every night, it's nowhere near the anarchy they portray it to be. There is far more good going on in that country than anyone in the MSM will tell you about.
If we seem a little a little "hypersensitive" it's because we are tired of the dissing we're getting for what we're doing over there.
I missed or don't recall that one, but I hear ya. Man.I made this pic of FOX News a while back. Notice who is MISSING from it??:
How to Make a Guerrilla Documentary
(Liberal Campaign to smear FOX News)''Outfoxed'' has been made in secret. The film is an obsessively researched expose of the ways in which Fox News, as Greenwald sees it, distorts its coverage to serve the conservative political agenda of its owner, the media tycoon Rupert Murdoch. It features interviews with former Fox employees, leaked policy memos written by Fox executives and extensive footage from Fox News, which Greenwald is using without the network's permission. The result is an unwavering argument against Fox News that combines the leftist partisan vigor of a Michael Moore film with the sober tone and delivery of a PBS special. A large portion of the film's $300,000 budget came in the form of contributions in the range of $80,000 from both MoveOn and the Center for American Progress, the liberal policy organization founded by John Podesta, the former chief of staff for Bill Clinton; Greenwald, who is not looking to earn any money from the project, provided the rest.
...did Billy go off his meds again...
Hey, Hannity looks pretty cute with that red hair done in the "gay bangs" style. Your idea??
I guess that Kelly woman refers to trash biographer Kitty
Kelley. I do remember now that he "asked" the viewers whether he should have her on. Boy, he IS showing a LOT of
insecurity, now that I think about it. These are not things that a confident host does. Compare him with Michael Savage, who couldn't care less what anyone thinks about his opinions. Gotta love that.
O'Reilly says that all the time.
He's become one of the mindless MSM bandwagoneers.
Thanks for the ping!
