My Case on Why Bush will WIN Easily
10/19/2004 | Greg Wilder

I predict Bush will win by about 7% nationally. He will get around 320-340 EV's. Here's my case for the Bush win.

I just hope Bush wins, and it's not close. I don't want to have to go through election 2000 again. Even though it may not be close, I still think Kerry will challenge a few of the so called battlegrounds. It may take 3-4 days to play out, but I hope not much longer.

If it weren't for the Internet and sites like FR, I would have "given up" years ago. Thanks all.....

Don't you think the Republicans will have Arnold S. stump for them in the battleground states? What other strategy could there be?

And thank you for a well thought out thread....this is going to be a rough two weeks for all of us....we just need to keep the faith...pray ALOT....and believe in good versus evil. (I am not sayin Kerry/Edwards are evil...BUT...the terrorists who want to weaken our country are...and they want these guys to win!)

True.

Loose can also function as a verb, meaning "to release."

"Only, yes only, reason that Bush Sr. lost was because of Perot!"

I believe Perot was in the race then for only one purpose - TO ELECT BILL CLINTON!!!

MAN, I agree with you. We should be prepared to discover and PROSECUTE voter fraud at all levels IMMEDIATELY after the election no matter what happens, and really, BEFORE the election.

EXAMPLES need to be made of perpetrators with prison time that will scare many of those who plan to be involved in voter fraud.

In fact, here is a new bumper sticker that you can start with to discourage some of the newbie perpetrators. Click to view, or right-click and choose "Save" to save the image.

"You can ROT IN PRISON for VOTER FRAUD !"

As an aside about Ohio, Blackwell is a great potential candidate to replace the disgrace-to-his-family-name Governor in two years. No doubt William Howard has disowned the present Gov many "turn-overs" during these recent years.

thanks for this link!

i found it interesting that so many people who said they were voting for kerry were doing so primarily because they want to vote against bush. this actually is great news for republicans long term because it means they are unable to project or articulate a vision of what they actually want, or, people actually have heard it and are repulsed, but find bush to be completely unnacceptable for whatever reason. the tide (sonomi?) is turning, so to speak.

Don't minimize the effect of the recent stock market drop. The markets recent drop will drain some votes from the President. If it continues to drop over the next two weeks--more votes will be drained.

Eliot Spitzer's (hardcore democrat who has warned republicans against using 9/11 in the campaign, and also plans a campaign trip for Kerry in Florida next week) recent attack on the insurance, health insurance, and financial stocks has had a deleterious effect on stocks in those industries. Many quality stocks have been decimated in the last few days. I hate to say his timing is suspect--since I'm not one who buys into the 'conspiracy thing'. But with 10-year bond yields about to go under 4%--the markets, themselves, are saying that the economy is slowing down AGAIN.

Let's hope the markets turn--or at least stabilize--as we can't afford even a slight reduction in support for Bush from the huge 'investor class'--which now includes most in the middle class (via mutual funds, and 401k's)
