There will be a showing of this movie in Abington PA courtesy of Michael Smerconish of WPHT Philly on Tuesday evening. The admission price is $12.50 and that includes a DVD or VHS of Stolen Honor! We will be showing our copy to everyone we know (hopefully we will be one of the 450 lucky enough to get in)! In answer to those who are screaming this is unfair and biased, I don't hear any comments from you about the Philly Inquirer which has endorsed JfoolK and is running editorials singing his praises for 21 days! Fortunately these are being challenged daily by www.GeorgeWBush.com as Kerry Daily Advocate.

Thanks for your post! I live in Baltimore County just about where Sinclair is located. The movie theater we go to is in Hunt Valley where they are.

I just scheduled "Stolen Honor" on my ReplayTV. It is playing on Thursday, 10/22 here in Baltimore. I'm going to Germany on that Saturday. Look forward to watching it on my laptop on the flight. (Too busy to watch it at home.)

I predict that this plus the Mary Cheney thing makes sKerry toast.

The Sinclair Broadcast Group has a website lookup for their stations here
http://sbgweb2.sbgnet.com/business/television.shtml

NewsMax published what appears to be a COMPLETE LIST of Sinclair stations along with their affiliation:
http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2004/10/13/141735.shtml
FREEPERS - Please check your TIVOs for Stolen Honor. It is starting to show up in the listings.

EVERYONE ELSE - You can signup for an account at TitanTV.com and do a SEARCH for "Stolen Honor"

Please Report your findings

I have put together a list of with sightings from Freepers, Tivo listings, and TitanTV.com -- a PARTIAL list:

[ I plan to update this list as more people help out with the checking
You can click on my name to see if there is a NEWER listing ]

For a $50.00 donation they'll send you either a DVD or VHS, your choice. It's money well spent.......

I fully support Sinclair. I will be circulating copies of what they broadcast. I will also be ordering Stolen Valor on DVD ASAP.

BTW, Sinclair is located in a town I used to live in (until about 3 years ago).

Buying a DVD and spreading it around seems to be the least effective method of distribution (Yes, I know it's all we have) but isnt there SOMETHING we can do to effect MASS distribution? News outlets can cover the DVD exerpts as news, creating distribution by proxy but why doesnt this have a deep pocketed distributer ala Micheal Moore?

My God, the Republicans may not understand media (e.g. distribution) yet but this election depends upon us ramping up our learning curve.

Where is our Harvey Weinstein?

Not to take anything away from the creators and the hard work and backing that went into stolen honor but Rule #1 of all media is it's one thing to create but the genius is in distribution.

"What if a DVD screamed in the forest that Kerry is a traitor, unfit for command but there was nobody around to hear it? Did it really make a sound?"

John Kerry, while still a naval reserve officer, met with then enemy in Paris and took their position....

Yes Jeff. And rumor has it he was stripped of his "top secret" security clearance shortly thereafter.

According to this report, not much time elapsed after this incident before John Kerry was discharged from his duties as a Naval Reserve officer. There is some question regarding the status of his discharge. This all took place in 1971.

Whatever it was, in 1978 (as I recall) John Kerry applied for, and got, his discharge papers reissued by the then-Secretary of the Navy himself. This after newly-installed President Carter issued a presidential pardon of all war-resisters and draft-dodgers. The 1978 papers depict Kerry's discharge as "honorable."

I dunno. Jeff. But this seems to be such an interesting story, I hope somebody in the media will track it down. To this day, Kerry refuses to sign the federal form that would enable the release of something like 100 pages of his military service records that have not yet been made public.

Kudos on a great post, Jeff!

Since it's not coming on here in Knoxville, I'll have to get the DVD but first I must know if it's closed captioned for the hearing impaired. If it's not, then I won't buy it. I'll just have to get what I can from freepers' views on it. So, is it captioned?? (fingers crossed) Thanks.

Thanks for the input. I've hated Kerry since his Senate testimony days but never thought he could ever get closer to the White House than Moscow or Beijing.
My own observation is that as Commander-In-Chief what could he say to the following hypothetical:
A company of army rangers in Afghanistan decide that the Taliban were given a raw deal and we should not have invaded. This group even sends emissaries to Pakistan to discuss their wholehearted support of the terrorist agenda. They might even publicly condemn their fellow soldiers of atrocities and their leaders of war crimes.
What would Kerry have to say to this group of fifty or so war veterans and heroes? Demonstrate all you want.
You men are entitled to your own opinions. You guys are my kinda guys... keep it up -- we could use you in Washington.
Just a thought for one last Swiftvet commercial.
