Sigh, RIP Mr. Dangerfield.

My heart sunk when I heard the news. I'll never forget going to the Back To School in 1985 with my whole family. It was the first thing we did as a family after my mom died. My gramma was dancing out of the theatre to "Respect". It was always a joy to see Rodney Danger field on the Jay Leno show. They just dont make them like that anymore. RIP Rodney!

Awww... I was afraid this would happen. He wasn't in the best of health lately. May God rest his soul...

A comic genius and a nice guy. Caddyshack was definitely a low-brow comedy classic because of him.

He'll get respect now, that's for sure.

Janet Leigh, Gordon Cooper, Rodney Dangerfield. That should do it for awhile.

Rodney was one of my favorites.

A very funny man. Here are some of my favorite of his jokes:

RODNEY: I dated this woman. I tell you she was old, she was really old.

AUDIENCE: How old was she?

RODNEY: She was so old that when she went to grade school they didn't have history!

"My wife likes to talk after making love. Last night, she called me from a motel!"

"My parents used to move a lot when I was a kid. But they'd never tell me."

"I went to the fights the other night and a hockey game broke out!"

"I don't get no respect. Every Halloween, the wife dresses up the kids as me."

Rodney Dangerfield Quotes:

* I was so poor growing up ... if I wasn't a boy... I'd have had nothing to play with.

* A girl phoned me the other day and said, "Come on over; nobody's home." I went over. Nobody was home.
I'm so ugly... I worked in a pet shop, and people kept asking how big I'd get.

Everybody is dying. Rodney Dangerfield. Gordon Cooper. That woman in the shower girl. Rick James. Johnny Ramone. The guy who did the Don't-squeeze-the-Charmin commercials. Laura Branigan. Leo Sayer.

When will the madness end?

I hear this place is restricted, Wang, so don't tell 'em you're Jewish, okay?

One of the true greats. RIP, Rodney.
