Will be viewed as a cheap shot.

THIS IS CORRECT. This is in DIRECT VIOLATION of the agreement between the campaigns. They are NOT to use any audio/video from the debates.

Leave it to the scumbag DNC.

I thought the rules stated that the parties couldn't use the video in comercials... I guess rules don't apply to democrats...

Interesting they can't seem to attack the substance of what Bush said. Or state clearly what John Kerry was trying to say.

I had a feeling that they were going to do this.

But, who cares. Bush is a real person. That speaks volumes to what Kerry is: A person of all faces.

This is insane. Are they trying to cancel the debates because the media said that Kerry won and now Kerry will look like the victor and Bush won't have a chance to make a comeback?

If this is the best the Dems can offer up, they are so screwed.

Bush was far too calm for there to have been any anger. They are barking up the wrong tree.

As a professional indiv & family counselor, I've seen "anger" more often than I care to remember. That was not President Bush last night.

What we saw -- and I've seen it, too -- is brow-furrowing, intense, serious reflection. It was deep reflective focus.

I'm certain.

The proof was Bush's line: "I'm a calm guy."

Although the unbalanced questioning and even a stupid, partisan question from Lehrer and discussion by Kerry of the question "Expanding on Bush's Lies" would've been just cause for Bush to become agitated.

It's a foregone conclusion that if it's a law, regulation, agreement or understanding, RATs will violate it.

It's WHAT they do, it's ALL they do..and they won't STOP....EVER!!!

The President did terrible last night. He looked distracted and he looked like he really didn't want to be there.

He really needs some coaching.

Hopefully last night won't hurt him. I wasn't surprised in his performance.

Kerry lied so many times that it became a joke. Unfortuantely Kerry came across better.

This is just coming from someone who used to be on a debate team.

Hope the President doesn't lose any swing voters.

Surely most people have already made their mind up.

Dims think this is a potent tactic - after all debate reactions were as responsible as anything for sinking Gore last time.

Of course, you can always count on them for being crass & over the top about it. And for that reason it won't work.

That video is funny.

I don't know why they put it up. It certainly doesn't favor Kerry.

And it doesn't show as much of GW's 'frustration' as it does his irritation.

Obviously Bush is worn out. I doubt he is getting much sleep.

Between the current terrorist threat and the hurricane disaster...well this is what we get.

Hopefully President Bush will get some sleep before the next debate.

Hopefully most people will understand why he came off the way he did last night.

Perhaps he should have commented on the subject.

I thought it was funny. I was making the same faces whenever Kerry spoke.

The eighties porn music really sucked though.

The Republican National Committee has audio from the debate on its website, so it appears both campaigns have decided to not stick to the agreement.

Big loophole. The DNC did not sign the memorandum.

This goes along with what I told my husband this morning...don't worry, Kerry is going to get even more cocky now since the polls say he won the debate. It will be tacky and only do him harm.

I feel much, much better about last night now and last night I thought Bush won.

This is a diversion, friends. They got nothing useful from last night.

This is why split screens during debates are bullsh!t. They were up there for an hour and a half. Every little twitch, blink or facial expression could be caused by any number of factors. Can you imagine having someone stare at your face, uninterrupted for an hour and a half? Good grief. Kerry made faces too. Big deal.

This reminds me of movie awards show that spend 6 hours on the red carpet talking about clothes, jewelry and hairstyles, then spend 2 hours on the actual content.
