The President did terrible last night. He looked distracted and he looked like he really didn't want to be there.

He really needs some coaching.

Hopefully last night won't hurt him. I wasn't surprised in his performance.

Kerry lied so many times that it became a joke. Unfortuantely Kerry came across better.

This is just coming from someone who used to be on a debate team.

Hope the President doesn't lose any swing voters.

Surely most people have already made their mind up.

He looked that way because he spent the entire day with hurricane victims with his highness spent the day getting his nails done.

I thought President Bush was not very sharp last night, but watching recaps this morning without the stuttering, I thought he was extremely strong and a leader. He was speaking to the the American people, while John Kerry was speaking to Jim Leher, and it shows up today.

Nonsense.

Any so-called "swing" voter, or college "debater", who whould vote for the Kerry/UN/Soros ticket, already believes in the "global test".

This so called debate, showed Kerry for what he is, and if the public wants that, then they will have to pay the price in the future.

I agree that the president wasn't on the top of his game, but I don't think there's much to worry about. The Kerry people worked hard to damage him before last night by saying he that he was a great debater and had never lost one. Neither is true. He did look distracted and came across at times as not focused as his time ran out. But there were other times when he came across with a lot of force and as caring for the American people.

Kerry looked good, but I don't think his comments will stand up--IF the media does its job. He made mistakes (Moscow, Treblinka, for instance), lied (we are suffering 90% of the casualties in Iraq and a lot more...) and flip-flopped (we need global participation; how can Bush dare not continue bi-lateral talks with North Korea and instead make it an multi-Asian effort).

The president's worse problem is that he did not seize on Kerry's specific mistakes, lies and flip flops he made just last night alone.
