Kerry gaffes from tonight's debate

Posted on 09/30/2004 10:02:28 PM PDT by Chameleon

The three gaffes that need to be focused upon:

1. Kerry suggested we need a "global test" to determine whether we need to defend ourselves.

2. Kerry said we should give nuclear fuel to Iran.

3. Kerry said we should involve ourselves in bilateral negoatiations with North Korea despite the fact that they've proven untrustworthy in such negotiations.

I can't believe that Bush let these kind of comments slide. Cheney won't be so kind.

It might have been a mis-speak, he probably meant to say "terrorists" or militants or whatever the current left-wing-appeasement-doesn't-want-to-call-islamic-radical-psychos-what-they-are buzzword is today.

The biggest problem was that when Kerry was asked to be specific about Iraq all he could say is that he would do things faster, cheaper, with more allies, etc. I other words he does not have a plan, he just wants to be the leader.

It was a Freudian Slip

Maybe, but you'd think the Kerry plan for North Korea would be to get like 200 countries talking to them. Maybe offering to allow the World Court to mediate.

Kerry's exact quote: "The President hasn't put one nickel, not one nickel, into the effort to fix some of our tunnels and bridges and most exposed subway systems. That's why they had to close down the subway in New York when the Republican Convention was there. We hadn't done the work that ought to be done."

1. Iraq was not close to the war on terror.

Not true. Iraq was involved in supporting terror. They had contact with terrorist organizations and have been paying bonus money to those bastards blowing up little kids in Israel.

2. We rushed to war

There are kids now going to middle school that were born after we started going to the UN about Iraq. So we rushed to war? How any resolutions before our war hero is ready to go to war to defend the country he loves?

3. Don't go to war without body armor

Oh now he wants body armor? Well how about voting for the money that is required to buy them the things they need to fight.

4. Kerry is against nuclear proliferation.

By giving Nuclear Fuel to Iran. The biggest supporter of terrorism and the biggest state sponsor of terror in the world. In fact, Iran can claim to have invented the middle eastern terrorist tactics in force today.

I appreciate how Bush "agreed" that nuclear proliferation IN THE HANDS OF OUR ENEMIES was the worst threat. He carefully said it that way twice, to set it right. We all know Kerry would jettison all of OUR nukes unilaterally.

Nooooo! I think that I was joking and that Kerry is an idiot. He has no center in his life that is why he doesn't believe anything and we he can't settle on one position. Actually Clinton is a better man and I thought Clinton was the worse president in US history.

"4. he omitted poland as being initially involved in the war in iraq."

After the U.S. and Great Britain, Kerry couldn't name one other member of the coalition.

Gaffe #4. Tax cuts aren't needed. Talk about coming out for tax increases. True he didn't say it but you don't need to figure out through the nuance John F*ckin' stands for higher taxes.

2. Kerry said we should give nuclear fuel to Iran.

The Breck Girl said the same thing a few weeks ago, calling it a "great bargain" for Iran to still be able to use their nuclear reactor as long as they return the spent fuel rods after they're done with them. Trusting Iran doesn't seem to be the best idea right about now, does it?

Clinton wanted to be president to get chicks. Kerry wants to cut the balls off of the US military and give them to europe. If Kerry becomes president, we will be totally dependent on europe for defense and completely vulnerable to the enemies of a free society.
