The three gaffes that need to be focused upon:
1. Kerry suggested we need a "global test" to determine whether we need to defend ourselves.
2. Kerry said we should give nuclear fuel to Iran.
3. Kerry said we should involve ourselves in bilateral negoatiations with North Korea despite the fact that they've proven untrustworthy in such negotiations.
Finally, Kerry promised to tie our hand behind our backs, and ewfuse to obtain weapons designed to destroy WMD or terrorist leaders buried deep within bunkers that cannot be taken out with conventional weapons.
Kerry said they closed down the NY subway during the Republican Convention. It never happened!
good pts. I pointed out the NK gaffe at the time...
and 4. he omitted poland as being initially involved in the
war in iraq.
Three Strikes. I think Kerry's Out. If The American people are a credible umpire they will decide he's too risky to be President.
Aren't bilateral negotiations really "unilateral"? The US "shunning the world community" and "going it alone"?
Maybe Kerry should talk about our "bilateral" Iraq war. After all, it had the US on one side and Saddam on the other.
"In your guts, you know he's nuts."
Kerry also said that he would unilaterally halt the tactical bunker busting program. Reminiscent of his unilateral disarmamnet days.
And of course the big one:
GLOBAL TEST!
Along with a yriad of assorted lies, bloviations and plain ole hs.
Plus he said we should have immediately turned Iraq over to the UN. But I think the nuclear fuel to Iran was the most idiotic, AND he kept saying nuclear proliferation is the biggest threat!
The Dems are busy patting one another on the back for their big win. As usual the substance passed them right by.
He stated as fact that operatives with a suitcase nuke were intercepted in the Middle East. They were going to sell it for $350 million (says Lurch).
No one recalls this incident.
If it is true, and Kerry learned it from insiders, how can he get off spouting security secrets to the whole world?
He's such a nutcase.
How about Kerry forgetting about our allies from Poland? And then when his omission was pointed out by W he just dismissed them. How will this play with all of the Polish-Americans in the Midwest, Ohio and Wisconsin in Particular?
RESPOND PLEASE...SOMETHING HIT ME RATHER ODD IN SOME WORDS KERRY SAID TONIGHT SO I WENT TO FOX AND LOOKED AT THE TRANSCRIPT OF THE DEBATE...IN A 90 SECOND RESPONSE KERRY
STATES: "THERE ARE BEHEADINGS, "WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION ARE CROSSING THE BORDER" AND THEY ARE KILLING OUR TROOPS........YOU GUYS CHECK THIS OUT...WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION CROSSING BORDER.........I THOUGHT THERE WEREN'T ANY......HOW DO ALL OF YOU TAKE THIS RESPONSE FROM
KERRY........BY THE WAY PAT CADDELL SAID THAT WHILE BUSH WAS VISITING HURRICANE VICTIMS TODAY KERRY WAS GETTING A MANICURE
makes sense, considering he is an internationalist. He all but said it is more important to make friends in the world than it is to stand by convictions. Was he a popular kid in high school, I wonder?
He sure has a lot of faith in the Iranian government... What is going to stop them once they have the fuel from simply ignoring the sanctions, kicking out the inspectors, developing nukes...then what is Kerry gonna do? Blame Bush? After all, his buddy Clinton did the same thing with North Korea, then they kicked out the inspectors, went and used OUR technology that Clinton GAVE them to build nukes... but somehow that's Bush's fault... Has anyone in a major, public way pointed out that in EVERY case of nuclear proliferation to irresponsible countries (see India, Pakistan, China, North Korea...others) has happened under Democratic administrations?
Plus the big number 4. -- Kyoto -- Sadly, any voter still undecided probably doesn't know what he was talking about.
Hard to believe Kerry was dumb enough to mention it. (Well maybe not considering some of he other stuff he has said..)
