I do not necessarily agree with you but you might wish to consider a certain passage.... I often think of this passage, and also of Claudius (Ceasar?) of I, Claudius. Great leaders with difficulties speaking.

I thought I would be upset watching this too but I feel pretty good.
There is alot of things I wish W would say, but he is doing pretty good.
Kerry sounds like the snake that he is, and W sounds sincere.

Kerry is getting his ass kicked, what debate are you watching ?The one on the TV. Take off your rose colored glasses and see Bush following and not leading. You can't follow a blatant liar. You have to attack the liar and state your own facts. You can't respond to 20 one sentence lies in 90 seconds.

Why do people think Kerry is winning when he is twisting the truth all over the place. I have "dumbed myself down" to the level of an undecided with Merlot tonight, and on surface, Kerry sounds more authoritative and expert....but Pres. Bush just scored a hit with his "core beliefs" statement.

Kerry is not constrained by facts nor ethics. Bush is fixed on a specific strategy that leaves Kerry free to criticize from any angle, the truth not being a factor.
A stable democracy is dependent on a discerning electorate that should throw a prevaricating fraud like Kerry out on his ear. And it is unnerving to see the smooth spillage of lies out of Kerry's mouth - and I wonder about the effect on the barely cognizant swing voter.

What really yanks my chain is when he starts pontificating about Iraq. I served 8 months longer in Iraq than sKerry did in Vietnam. He had no clue then about what it truly ment to serve and sacrifice for your country and when he claims that he knows better how to handle Iraq than the current POTUS...he insults those of us that do!
