I was having an argument with another FReeper about how many of the old timers were still around. I tell people there is a FReeper vsyndrome and that most of them are still around, they just don't post much anymore.
Here is your chance to put these rumours to rest. Chime in and let everyone know you still are alive and kicking. Post your registration number if you know it.

Kinda bummed. First registered 12/98 as Trek99. Came back one day and I had been bumped.
I remember A+Bert, OWK, Alamogirl, etc.
FR kept me sane during Monica & impeachment. I'll never forget simultaneously posting on FR, watching the Bagdad webcam and Foxnews during the Thunder Run to Bagdad.

Old school freeper, karsar, here. My sign-up date was June 6, 1998 after many months of lurking. I don't recall my number.
Still here but mostly lurk.

You're #6565, another cool number. Click on your name, then on the "in forum" section. In the address bar above it, your number will appear.

I have special discount prices for freepers, plus I guarantee the return will be printed on non-recyled paper and all numbers and descriptions are right justified in proportional type.

What was the story? I think last I remember of him was during the recount. I think he was trying to have one of Gore's lawyers banned from practicing in FL? Man, I am exhausted, and this is the best I can pull from my dern brain. I can't recall the last appearance of Jack, but all I can recall is that he had a tendency to get into flame wars, and then, when he didn't get his way, he'd start threatening to sue everyone. Then he'd get banned.
But he was corlorful and entertaining, in a perverse sort of way....

Anyone know how to get the tilde over the n? That bugs me. Lol! Google manana, and you'll get a hit on a page that has the tilde over the n. copy 'n paste.
Yeah, you can Freepmail me, but I might be weary.

"I was having a very bad hair day. I've since had it all cut off."
Yup, I had long hair at the time, also. I cut it off after 9/11 to join the Coast Guard Auxillary. But I do remember you looking kinda shaggy...ha...but having your s&&t together. My SO remembers you even better and has nothing but the best to say about you everytime we talk of that day.

Pioneer I can take, just don't refer to me as an "old timer". Sign up date 7-5-98.
To: jrcats
I thought you had another name before?
Maybe that was from when you didn't have to register.
Wish I had saved all of those ICQ chats like I do the AIM ones --lol
Well if I wasn't such a procastinator I would have an late 98/early 99 sign-up.
And believe it or not I actually did read the links you sent me, plus more on my own. ;-)
